azscott
Just curious if anyone has a good place to get replcement carpet for the Comanche. I pulled mine up to check the floors...which where still like new ( hey Arizona what can you say...7 inches of rain annualy)...and since the carpet is junk I might as well replace it. Certainly plenty of places carry it but maybe some here have had good and bad experiences with quality and fit. scott
Dave Stark
I got mine out of a C4C XJ. You will have to trim the back, but otherwise a good fit.
jmderyke
I found a good priced place but i havent put in a order yet for the vinyl floor. $120 for carpet or vinyl bets the hell out of $300. I don't know of a place to get the headliner. You may have to get someone to cover the headliner. http://www.auto-interior.com/jeep4.htm.
SuperWade2
Guy on Ebay used to do Headliners and also sell just the fabric kits to do you own replacement. Not sure if he still does or not.
azscott
...I was looking at the vinyl floor from them....since I am offroad half the time maybe it would be better than carpet. carpet sure gets beat on from all the sand and dirt. scott
Blue XJ
I bought headliner material from JoAnne Fabric and recovered mine. Clean the old stuff off as good as you can, then clean the board, and using headliner adhesive, attach the new one.
87mjdriver
ACC carpets. mine was 124$ and it fit great, what an improvement changing the carpet makes. go for it.
cmelo
I got mine out of a C4C XJ. You will have to trim the back, but otherwise a good fit. Did you use the headliner out of the XJ? I always wondered if that would work if you trimmed it down. It would be cheap and quick to do it that way.
azscott
...I just ordered the custom fit vinyl flooring. I use the truck for prospecting trips so i am in and out of the truck all time and drag a tone of sand and junk in...think I will see if the vinyl lasts better...the sand just eats up the carpet. Thanks for all the recomendations. I will have to swing over to JoAnns and look at the headliner stuff....good idea...did not think of them scott
Jeepcom23
I got my headliner from a guy off of ebay for about $120. He remakes all of them and they look and fit great. He even sent me the same fabric for the sun visors!
case5412
 Just grab fabric and use spary adhesive; be sure not to make it too short
Blue XJ
 Just grab fabric and use spary adhesive; be sure not to make it too short Be careful with what spray adhesive you use, most of them say do not use for automotive headliners. Pete M
the headliner is subjected to plenty of heat. I'm guessing that's why some glues won't work.
