1986 Jeep CJ-7 Laredo 369 Actual miles

AS NEW NEVER TITLED, STILL ON MSO, YES YOU WILL BE THE ORIGINAL OWNER. Special ordered by Dealer/Collector, delivered new to a private collection in early 1986 and has been properly stored, maintained and covered since 1986. The 86 Laredo was the top of the line and the last year for the CJ-7 this is a special ordered Automatic. It is estimated that less than 250 Automatic Laredo’s were built in 86, also has two other very rare options, cruise control and factory cassette. The collector also requested that the top not be installed. He did not want any holes drilled into the body. The black soft top is still in its original factory Whitco box. To see all of the factory options please refer to invoice and window sticker. This is one of the lowest mileage and finest CJ-7’s in existence. We have the original certificate of origin (MSO), original invoice, window sticker, books, manuals, etc… It is as close to new as you will ever find. We offer worldwide shipping and financing with approved credit. We have specialized in 76-86 Jeep CJ’s for over 25 years this is without a doubt one of the finest in existence. This opportunity to buy an as new CJ-7 Laredo may never present itself again. Thanks for interest.

If that were an MJ with <400miles, the guys here would be on it like a fat kid on a cupcake...

I resemble that remark.

Anyhoo, there was a Scrambler on eBay about a year like that, wasn't a Collins Bros though. It was in Colorado and had like 3k miles or less on it. Asking was $30k I think.

I'm with 87warrior but that price a bit high. This jeep would still need some proper tuning done. POS carter carb needs to go, as does all the computer junk. Need a nutter bypass, HEI ignition, headers and a weber carb. Best thing I ever did to my 85 CJ7 which reminds me...makes me wonder what gearing this jeep has. Someone at AMC apparently thought putting 2.73's in Jeeps for "economy" was a great idea. Even with a bunch of performance mods and a freshly rebuilt 258, my CJ7 dogged on stock tires. It really sucked, never touched 5th gear and would have to stomp on it to pull through gears.

2.73's... :shake:

^ the whole reason the jeep is priced so hi is its in orignal show room condition, untouched and legally unpurchased. doing all that to it would be a waste. this is a time capsule, and should stay in that condition. any normal jeep, ok whatever. just me.

You know, if I was to buy a Brand new Jeep for a silly high price, I would take this CJ over a JK any day.... Even if it cost me an extra $7k. That is also a valid comparison since they are both fresh off the show room floor.

Yea that is just what I was thinking. I bought an '09 Rubicon a few months ago. :(

http://www.gocms.com if you're going

Going out on a limb here but anyone who buys a 200k JK is out of their god-damned mind.

Bolt in kit for a YJ starts at 60k....

Price is in :Canadaflag: , so if you bought at the right time it would have been a 'better' deal, other than when you had to pay tax to import it...

Basically this jeep is aimed to a museum piece. It is not meant to be titled/driven. I bet if it was listed at Barret Jackson's auction it would fetch more then that considering how "rare" it is.

As for me.. no jeep out there is worth more then 1500 bucks. All I do with them is drive them and wheel them.. no need for me to find a clean example of a jeep.
