1990 Pioneer 4x4 Posted February 21, 2010 Author Posted February 21, 2010 Mounted some recovery points to the front bumper. ...I can't see that lasting through much of a pull... Willy Seems to be working just fine so far...
1990 Pioneer 4x4 Posted February 21, 2010 Author Posted February 21, 2010 Drove out to the East side of the County today:
1990 Pioneer 4x4 Posted February 21, 2010 Author Posted February 21, 2010 Time for new door checks, but nice to have doors that work! :clapping:

Ive tried ebay and running searches on bing and google but can only find grand cherokee ones. :dunno: With a little work on-line you should be able to find some. I got mine off of eBay, I’ll look to see if I kept any of the contact info and if so…, I’ll repost.
1990 Pioneer 4x4 Posted March 19, 2010 Author Posted March 19, 2010 First time this truck has seen a front license plate. Thought I better stop procrastinating and get er mounted.

1990 Pioneer 4x4 Posted March 19, 2010 Author Posted March 19, 2010 nice truck, what company makes those brake rotors Thanks. Sorry, can’t remember. Looked at the receipt and it only had a part number/description.

1990 Pioneer 4x4 Posted May 30, 2010 Author Posted May 30, 2010 Ok I know this is a project thread, but … Just updated my DD to this: Parting shot of my old '99 as i left the lot. :(
freakjeep93 Posted May 30, 2010 Posted May 30, 2010 i don't mean to be offensive but i wouda kept the old one. i like the looks much better
1990 Pioneer 4x4 Posted May 30, 2010 Author Posted May 30, 2010 i don't mean to be offensive but i wouda kept the old one. i like the looks much better It does look good, but it sure had issues. I just couldn't justify spending money on the old rig to fix all the problems...
1990 Pioneer 4x4 Posted June 4, 2010 Author Posted June 4, 2010 This is becoming an all too familiar occurrence.
1990 Pioneer 4x4 Posted June 4, 2010 Author Posted June 4, 2010 NOOO!you didnt just do what i think you did? If you’re talking about selling it, no. I’ve had it way too long to get rid of it, but times like this I’ve considered just covering it up and letting it sit. These old rigs require too much attention!
one_bad_MJ Posted June 11, 2010 Posted June 11, 2010 Installation completed :D You can even see my upgraded rotors in this pix. Yes, every little bit helps! Front axle assembly is completed: new axles, TrueTrac, and trussed. It’s time to do something with that D35… :dunno: slotted rotors and mud do not mix it will eat your pads right out. I'm just sayin.
1990 Pioneer 4x4 Posted June 11, 2010 Author Posted June 11, 2010 I’d much rather stop when I need to; than worry about wearing down my pads prematurely. :D
mrsinister Posted June 30, 2010 Posted June 30, 2010 Where are you at in the area. It seems theres a few of us out here on CC. I'm out here outside of Gig Harbor...

1990 Pioneer 4x4 Posted July 1, 2010 Author Posted July 1, 2010 DD Update: Lowered a few inches, air bags installed, fender flares mounted, body side molding stuck in place, skid plates bolted up, windows tinted – almost done!
1990 Pioneer 4x4 Posted July 31, 2010 Author Posted July 31, 2010 Look at what just arrived from Port Jeff Jeep in NY. Yep, the last new OEM fuel pump! At $268.60 it wasn’t cheap, but if it lasts another 20 years, its money well spent.
1990 Pioneer 4x4 Posted August 12, 2010 Author Posted August 12, 2010 Got the new fuel pump installed and now look at what UPS just delivered:
