Geonovast
It shouldn't be that hard to find a stock one at a JY. front doors from an 84-96 4 door XJ are identical to MJ doors.
Pete M
are you looking for just the handle? or the guts inside the door?

Pete M
Might be something in the HELP section at the auto parts store, but I can't say for sure. I've always just hit up the junkyard. :D
Geonovast
Or a WTB thread here. I'm sure someone has 1 or 17 laying around.
19comanche87
ive always had troble with the plastic ones you find in the autoshop they always brake... so i was lookin for more like a metal universal one
Automan2164
If your always breaking the plastic ones, either there is something wrong with the inner works, or you need to slow the magilla-gorilla strength down a notch. But in all seriousness, the JU is the way to go. Rob L. :D
Pete M
My old 85.5 Escort had metal cranks that mounted in a similar fashion. Of course, I know this because it snapped in half on me.
JeepinSoldier
They are stock but Ive got 4 black ones and the JY down the street from me has a cherokee with 3 grey ones left. JY wants $5 each for them. I will send you black ones for the price of shipping. PM me your address if you want em.

1990 Pioneer 4x4
I would recommend staying with the plastic ones. I changed mine out to some cool aluminum ones and my left leg smashes into it while I’m bouncing around off-road. If you really want metal, find a GOOD pair of stock plastic ones (black) and I’ll trade ya.
glundblad
TeamCherokee.com sells an oem alternative under their interior parts section. It is difficult to tell if they are more substantial, but I don't think that would take much. :brows:
