Eagle
Not exactly concours d'elegance quality, but functional. I think it would be fine if the location is in the southwest, where it's warm and dry. In the rust belt, the overlapping sheets would trap snow, rain and salt, and the job would have to be repeated at the end of every winter.
whowey
Well.. being Aluminum it wouldn't rust. But the gaps would trap junk in them, and allow it into the inner bed side area. So it would cause even more rust. BTW... it looks like crap... steaming, smelly,in the sun all day crap....
Pete M
Aluminum may not "rust" per se, but it will corrode to dust all the same.
Eagle
Well.. being Aluminum it wouldn't rust. It's not called "rust" when it happens to aluminum, but aluminum and salt do not coexist for long. The salt always wins.
BJA814
Never mind the bed...how about that sweet PVC rollbar? Or whatever that thing is stuck to the hood as an ornament...
