Pete M
lower control arms need to absorb way more force than the uppers. you are free to do anything you want. I just want you to be aware that you could lose everything if it fails.
Automan2164
:agree: Buddy, also notice that Wade only ran home-extended uppers. Not lowers. From what I see, the washer, and small movement of the hole on the uppers is do-able in my book... But adding a whole section into a lower, more shock/load taking arm... Lets just say, wouldn't catch me getting a ride in the truck with those arms. Rob L.
buddy208
thats why we decide to add square tubing to the side of the lower arms after that we don't see how they would break unless the ends(where the bushings are mounted) break off. aemsee
since you seem hell bent on growing your own, at least box in the bottoms after you extend them.
89eliminator
yeah i only ran the extended uppers, i had adjustable lowers. lowers could be done, but just make sure you box the crap out of them.
buddy208
how long does the track bar have to be for five inches of lift and is there any vehicle i can get it from that is the right length
mvusse
I believe everyone who's lifted their Comanche or Cherokee more than 3" runs an adjustable after market track bar. i don't know of any other brand vehicles that share track bars with Jeeps, not to mention be the exact correct length. I believe RE makes some good ones.

akamcbird
u get what u pay for... i personaly stay away from any brand that has more than 2 or 3 direct compeditors, theyre competing in price and quality is were your savings comes from. the two comanches ive dd couldnt keep a stock track bar for more than two months, prolly the way i drive but the re bar hasnt givven me a single issue in over a year
