They are made and based in AUSTRAULIA!!! Yes, they make a quality spring no argument. But so does BDS. BDS is made in the heart of our nation, Michigan!! All things equal, my money goes to a USA based company!! BDS stands behind its products, warranty REPLACEMENTS, (when needed) are the norm. CW No sheite Sherlock. And that's AUSTRALIA, not AUSTRAULIA!!! (using your quotes). I've had lots of dealings with OME; my bro-in-law works for them and I get their stuff at cost! And since he's there, I have no worries mate about OME standing behind their products. :D But I'd most likely buy from BDS or some another US based company like TeraFlex (I like their products too) if this weren't the case for me.

LOL sorry for that... I knew it was wrong, I just didn't know what was right!! :shake: :rotf: I have Tera-flex S4T lift in my TJ and like how it performs!! I'm not so fond of there poly bushings, but overall the products are sound!! Good show for you on the OME stuff. But lessin' your forwarding your bro-in-laws number to the PO, he may not have your affinity for warranty service!! CW

CW The bro-in-law actually works as a sales rep out in ARB's WA office, and can ship me new stuff should the need arise - hasn't yet. I have OME shocks and front coils, and would have their rear leaf spring packs too if they made them for our MJs. The freekin' ride and handling is better than new stock. As far as TeraFlex I use their adj. track bar (Know you don't like these), shackles, and disk brakes. All good stuff for my street rig. Hey, everyone has differing opinions on who makes quality stuff, and I don't and won't use junk on my truck. Sounds like you are the same way CW. But unfortunately, good quality products cost more than the "overseas" junk a lot of the vendors sell nowadays. Like Lee at Hesco says: "Speed (or quality) costs money".

TNT
BDS has a stiffer spring rate for heavy bumpers with a winch or high speed off road use. I like the stiffer spring rate for handling on and offroad also. They have a great no questions asked lifetime warranty. OME softer spring rate for a better street and slower off road use. I believe they have a good warranty. I had real good luck with Teraflex 3" TJ coils I bought back in 1990. The new owner likes them also. They had a soft spring rate about the same as OME. I like stiffer front coils because they make the suspension balance better offroad. They make the rear springs do their job too. Having a well balanced offroad suspension is great.
