While i am a fan of mopars, and styles of them. IMO a cowl hood looks mean on the MJ/XJ and would provide more functionality, IE lower underhood temps, as well as a possible air intake option.

You asked for opinions - I think that would look stupid on an MJ hood w. the seam down the middle. MUCH prefer the Reflexxion cowl hood as above. But if you like it, go for it. That's all that really matters, not what the forum thinks.

I'm gonna have to say thumbs down. Imo-A "functional" hood scoop means you needed more space, not more air. If you just need more air to get in, you could put in some functional vents. Only my opinion though.

Just to stir the pot, here's a picture of my buddy's (Garrett, owner of Heartland Off-road) XJ that he just built a turbo stroker for, and built his own dual tb intake for. He's the one that'll be building the turbo system for my SBC MJ.

That's just wrong, that hood only belongs on 'Cudas and Challengers.
I vote shaker hood just for the cool factor.

I didn't say put it on the MJ I meant go by a cuda and leave the stock hood on the MJ. :clapping:
