jtdesigns
Speedo cables are easy to replace. I got mine at NAPA and it came with a pack of lube and the grommet was installed on the cable already. Took about 20 mins putting it in.

500 MJ
Undo the nut at the Trans. Then loosen it from the retaining clips on the body (if you still have them). Then just take your dash apart and push/pull the cable down through the firewall. Install it in the opposite order, make sure the Nut is tight on the trans end. Wildman
The only thing that it would really do is not run up the mileage on the odometer, and not show your land speed..........be a great excuse to get out of a speeding ticket......like " I don't know how fast I'm going " :dunno: :brows: Here, I brought up the page, try this- http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/x,carco ... ttype,1440

Timmaay
:fs1: :headpop:  Still no luck in my searching ............... :ack: :shake: I have the same problem and am thinking about making my own clip or just some other way to hold it on. Half of an alligator clip secured to the cable with a special notch to fit the speedo is the current idea.
jeep_freek88
:fs1: :headpop:  Still no luck in my searching ............... :ack: :shake: I wish I still had that option......When I called napa they said "Oh yeah we have that in stock just come pick it up" So I decided to remove the speedo cable from the truck to bring it in to make sure they were giving me the right one, and to show them the right one so I didn't look like an idiot when I told them it was wrong.........anyway in the process of removing it the white plastic portion seperated from the cable :headpop: so yea now it completly worthless I really need some :help:   :wall: :shake:
