What tail light is this?

From the seller.

Thanks! I actually had about 4 people email me about it and most of them were pretty rude! I pulled the listing to avoid the headaches. I'll just try and sell it local. I appreciate the info. Have a great weekend!

I can't imagine who was the "rude" one. :shake:

After looking in the JY this weekend, the tail lights on a full size dodge ram looked more like the one he had listed. :dunno: Anyhow, it's over.

On a side note. I would hope that when something like this found, we will try to keep it civil to the seller. Whether they take the advice or not, there is no need to be ugly. It only reflects poorly over our purpose here.

I don't feel that any single one of us was rude.

OBVIOUSLY he hasn't gotten a clue. we say it's not a comanche tail light, he doesn't believe us. who here deals with more comanches? him...or us?

no offense to anyone who thought we were rude, but frankly I'd say we all know damn well what we're talking about with comanches. some of us know more, some less, but I like to think we're all somewhere in the middle. Yes, there is always something new to learn, but you can't argue about what tail lights were available...there was only one basic tail light design available, with only a couple variations.

somple, fact, and not rude at all.

I'm surprised he was so reluctant and stand-offish. They are near me and I buy alot of parts from them, I can pick up which means no shipping. I get alot of good deals. last week I got an almost new wheel hub (not even any surface rust) for the xj for $15, a gauge cluster for $17, a reel light for $1.75, two nice fenders with flares for $6.75, and a 97+ console for $1.25 (which i sold to shelby for $5).

Was the seller Jeeps Unlimited? If so, I'm surprised, both at the initial refusal to even check when he was told the light wasn't for a Comanche, and secondly by HIS rudeness to those who contacted him in good faith to try to head off a train wreck of a sale.

Yes, eagle, it was. It is under a new owner now. Alot of the people are the same but there is a new owner. That was surprised me too, that he didnt just say ill look into it.

Maybe someone rigged it into a Mj and he pulled it thinking it was O.E. :dunno:

Rob L.

If the original picture on this post of the tail light in the pickup is what was being sold as a comanche tail light, it is written on the side of the pickup in the picture "87 dodge".
