I plan on getting some wheel spacers for my rear axle, a la Hornbrod and Superwade2 recently, and several have been available on jeepforum. What are the pros and cons of hubcentric vs. non-hubcentric spacers? Most of the ones I see are NOT hubcentric.

With having done zero scientific research on this, I prefer hub-centric because the center hub shares the loads with the lugs.

Hubcentric centers your wheel by letting the wheels center hole slip onto the hub.

non-hub, or lug-centric centers your wheel by using the lugs.

Yes, and MAKE SURE YOU USE THE LUG-CENTRIC LUGNUTS.

Othewise, they WILL back off and your wheel could very well FALL OFF.

Eggzacerly, as the OEM lug nuts do (and some aftermarket nuts). I would not use non-hubcentric spacers or adapters for any application; not something to cheap out on mate.
