a friend of mine once said he's not raciest, he's a culture-ist...(making up words aside...). nothing wrong with black people, i've know quite a few good people who are black, and i've known quite a few white people who are jack@sses. that's a perfect example of why i'm opposed to the culture many black people have embraced.

:shake: Just more uneducated ignorance... :shake:

Having Obama in there is going to do such damage to this country that I doubt God will be able to fix it. Tuesday was an incredibly sad day in my book :( . I made sure I stayed busy away from any TVs or Radios so I didn't have to hear the BS.

Ya know, I am not racist...most of the so-called 'profiling' that I do is to look for white folks in the black areas 'cause they are the ones buying the drugs (lol - they got money).

I have to tell you - the kind of crap that is in this video is what will cause the majority of folks to turn against Obama the next time around, whether he does a good job or not. Most folks wanted change...not ghetto.

I don't know which video is worse the Fox "News" (and I use the term loosley) or the Rap Video. Both crap in my opinion.

Obama was not my first choice for president, but he is president and I am willing to give him a chance to turn around this country. He has not done anything I disapprove of yet, but it is still early in the game.

I am NOT racist.

BUT

I look down on people who fit their races cultural stereotypes.

color, creed, sexual preferance. I don't care.

just don't act like a ghetto piece of $#!&, be a hard working american WITH A GREEN CARD, and support our country. that is all I ask.

unfortunately, the people I look down on are so uneducated that they voted this election based on race, not based on a man's goals. (and not one of you can say this is untrue)

I have no comment on Obama's capabilities. that is yet to be seen. I did not vote him, because of his business practices. that is NOT to say I think he's an incapable and worthless President.

I just wish that people had looked more at the agendas of the presidential candidates rather than race. this video is proof that even the upper class wealthier person can still make decisions based on improper merit.

In the wheeling community, you can't like Obama. I spent the last 2 days defending my like for him, I have been threatened, called every name in the book, and pummeled by my fellow wheelers. I am actually considering getting out of this hobby just cause of the type of people who are associated with it. To be threatened cause I like a certain political figure, is too far for me. It really bums me out, what happened to the open minded person.

I like to think we're open-minded here.

I do not believe Obama condones this crap, simply because he is an educated and crafty man and over the line demos by idiot rappers and the equally idiot white extremists are only going to make his job more difficult. I think this guy is in a Lose - Lose situation. No matter what he does; whatever legislation he favors and promotes, one group or the other will come down on him. These groups include the haters, the media, the extremists, the blacks, the whites, and the Senate and House. Whatever he does will be seen as favoritism one way or the other, so he'll probably be ineffective and things could very well get worse. BUT he asked for the job, worked hard to get it, so let's see how he deals with it. I'm not real optimistic......

Yes.. I agree. I just wish him the best. He is our Commander In Chief, so I will stand behind him. I made a oath long time ago which if I ever faulted on would make me (in my eyes) lower then the hip-hop hommies who made the rap..

I appreciate that I can voice my opinion here, and I welcome others opinions. I don't really care what your political, or religious views are. I am not here to judge a person on what he/she believes. These are what our country was built upon.

I usually keep my nose out of political discussions, but felt I had to chime in here.

Why is it called a green card? They're not green, they are white. And before that - at least in 1993 - they were pink.

And yes, I have one, I'm registered for military duty, and I pay taxes like everybody else.

But I am not allowed to vote :(

I feel that you should be able to vote, and I don't know why it's called a green card.

Not difficult, but expensive.

Just to immigrate here (after marrying a citizen) rang up over $2000 on my credit card. And that did not include gas for 20+ trips to Cleveland and back (closest INS office, now Dep. of Homeland Security) 90 minutes away on the freeway.

Naturalization runs a bit more than that. Don't be fooled by the $400 filing fee. When all is said and done it'd be right about $5000.

I'm not fooled. Been there done that, although we're getting off-topic here. My wife was a foreign national, and both our kids were born overseas. 20+ trips to Cleveland back is nothing compared to plane fare back and forth several times from Kwajalein to Hawaii for the wife's naturalization. Hono was the nearest Immigration Office from Kwajalein where i was stationed at the time. For the kids we managed to get that done in Manila, where they were born (I drank beer with the Asst. Consul :D). Many many trips to USEMBManila though. Realize the fees are going up and will continue to do so, so if you want it the longer you wait the more expensive it will become mate.

I agree. Glad you are here legally, but voting is a right reserved for citizens, I have 3 friends who have gone though the process, and none have any regrets. Granted there are a lot of rights that the legislature seems bound and determined to extend to extend to people here illegally or who are citizens of another country living in that country. Ex: there have been a few cases where a lawsuit was brought by an illegal immigrant, thrown out thank god but still disputed by people who said they have a right to the usage of the legal system. There is also a case where a gitmo detainee, never a citizen, living in Pakistan is examining suing the federal government, a lawyer in DC is considering his case for him...

Although if we think he is good enough to fight for our country, I think he should be able to choose who tells him what to do. i.e. vote for President.

I disagree. I think that only citizens should be allowed to vote and our laws have always supported that concept. If you want to vote here, become a naturalized citizen.

The shame is that half of the people who COULD vote here, do not take the time to do so.

I agree to a point, but I'm curious what oath that would be? The Military one that says "protect against all enemies, foreign and domestic?" If so, could not the President become an enemy of the US after being elected? Don't get me wrong, I don't think President Obama is our enemy, but something to think about. That oath is not to any one man.

As the law stands now, only citizens are allowed to vote. Get enough people to say otherwise who are also citizens, and we could change it. That's one nice thing about the US, that we can change the laws if enough citizens want to (at least in theory, getting it done is another thing).
