AEV conversion to a Willis pickup

I don't know if anyone else may have linked this build up here. I don't get around as well reciently... but it was VERY NICE!! its also a pick up so its OK!! Juan just sent it to me and I thought you guys would like to read it too.

That is very cool :thumbsup: . I would love to have that for a DD and a show toy. I wish even more that I had the ability to build it myself. I like the mixture of the old & new.

Thats not an AEV conversion, well, that is to say AEV didn't do the conversion... Some guy built it and did all the fab work himself, he did buy the AEV cab closeout and a repo chevy bed. There is a long thread over on JU about it. Interesting, don't like the bed though. I don't think it fits with the lines of the wrangler.

the only thing I don't like (and by this I mean I HATE it) is the hard top. it's too slanted, looks like @$$. doesn't keep in contoure with the truck at all.

Yes, I know that...that was my point...there were no other posts at the time but mine :dunno:

 

The board that I admin has been modded to allow users to delete their own posts at any time, but that is a custom mod that our webmaster put in.

 

but you triple posted, so yes there were posts after the first. you could've deleted your last post before i made mine. but that doesnt matter anymore since someone erased them for you. :thumbsup:
