Renault wants Jeep but not Chrysler / Dodge, Chrysler cannot sale off just Jeep as no one would want only the Chrysler / Dodge end of things :( And with Renault sales going down and that they starting to lay off workers, it would be hard to take on a dog like Chrysler. With just talk of Renault talking to Chrysler yesterday Renault stock went down 7% :doh: Now in a year or two things could change a lot.
dasbulliwagen Posted January 15, 2009 Posted January 15, 2009 Jeep is the only company of value to Chrysler Corp., I agree, Chrysler would be totally worthless without Jeep. Jeep is the only reason Chrysler bought AMC to begin with.
