Pete M Posted December 8, 2008 Posted December 8, 2008 I'll be in Georgia for a while at my parents' house. I'll have internet access, but I won't be on quite as often. I'm bring the CC swag down with me so I can still mail that out is anyone needs something. I can't wait to be down there for long enough to actually hit up the junkyards. Be forewarned GA, I'm raiding all your Jeep parts. :D I'm thinking we should probably have a GA meet and greet. :D I'll start a post in the wheelin/trips forum.
mjeff87 Posted December 8, 2008 Posted December 8, 2008 if you're traveling via I95, gimme a holler when you're around Richmond. I'll buy ya a beer  Jeff
Pete M Posted December 8, 2008 Author Posted December 8, 2008 I-75 pretty much the whole way. It's a 12 hour drive so I'm not sure how keen my dad will be on adding significant time to that anyways. :(
Pete M Posted December 8, 2008 Author Posted December 8, 2008 Oh and now we're leaving on Thursday. Was able to get a dealership appt for the Liberty on Weds and I'd like to have that blower fan recall done before we put another 750 miles on it. :shake:

Was able to get a dealership appt for the Liberty on Weds and I'd like to have that blower fan recall done before we put another 750 miles on it. :shake: Got the # still? Call me when you get here. We may hook up for a GA M&G. That would be cool.
Pete M Posted December 10, 2008 Author Posted December 10, 2008 I started a M+G post in the "wheelin" forum. Go add some input so we can try to figure something out over the next week.
Pete M Posted December 13, 2008 Author Posted December 13, 2008 Looks like getting the internet won't be an every-day thing, so Eagle's in charge of keepin' y'all in line, and Qui Gon-Jinn is in charge of any website technical aspects.

Pete M Posted January 4, 2009 Author Posted January 4, 2009 Leaving for Michigan Sunday morning. Obviously I should be offline all day. Or at least for the 14 hours of driving. :ack:
Pete M Posted January 5, 2009 Author Posted January 5, 2009 It was. :D I'm back home in the cold now. :(
Ndru911 Posted January 8, 2009 Posted January 8, 2009 Did yo score anything from our junk yards? how'd you like that freak 70+ degree weather? . Maybe I'll catch you next time -A
Pete M Posted January 8, 2009 Author Posted January 8, 2009 I got a rust free fender for my project truck. :D Unfortunately, only one day was both warm and dry. Seems to be the rainy season down there. :shake: And yeah, next time I'm down for any length of time I'll be a bit more proactive to arrange a meet-and-greet.
Pete M Posted January 8, 2009 Author Posted January 8, 2009 Did you get anything else on the way back :D As a matter of fact, yes I did. :D I picked up a sweet craftsman GT-5000 garden tractor. I can only hope that I'll be able to use it a couple times up here in Michigan before I drag it down to Georgia to attack Dad's acre-o-grass. :clapping: do anything to the ghost shell? Yup. I added a fender and washed the dickens out of it. :D Oh, and I re-inflated the flat tire. Next trip I'm bring down a pile of parts from home and probably POR the floors.

Pete M Posted January 9, 2009 Author Posted January 9, 2009 That should be do-able. Feel free to bring over any of the other random missing parts if you won't need them.
