atlnq9 Posted September 1, 2008 Share Posted September 1, 2008 I just bought this 91 comanche with 4.0L engine and when I changed the oil it had a greenish tint. atlnq9 Posted September 2, 2008 Author Share Posted September 2, 2008 no it wasn't thick and the oil pressure is fine. the valve cover and gasket were replaced just prior to my purchase, could it have been an additive to check for oil leaks? If so it might be hurricane oil it will not smoke like dino oil it is used in racing applications . Someone my be trying to hide a smoking problem .
