Akula69 Posted July 18, 2008 Posted July 18, 2008 Well shoot, I tried to post the pics of his jeep, but it's not working right now. We'll get them up soon.
Akula69 Posted July 20, 2008 Posted July 20, 2008 OK - we'll try this again. The Christmas Jeep: 1989 2wd, 4.0L metric tonne LB. Very little rust with 167K on the body and 57K on engine. Runs well but needs front and rear main seals, etc, etc...we have lots to do! And no, we didn't pay the price on the windshield....more pics to come in the MJ Project thread.
Wildman Posted July 20, 2008 Posted July 20, 2008 And no, we didn't pay the price on the windshield.... Oh.......I thought that price was in peso's :teehee: Nice find........main thing......little / NO rust :D Seals and parts can be changed.......body rust
Shadow14 Posted July 21, 2008 Author Posted July 21, 2008 in pesos it would still be like three dollars
vzehler Posted July 21, 2008 Posted July 21, 2008 Had it been wrecked? Looks pretty good.. and with a little prep you could get that paint done pretty cheap at Maaco if your not looking for a show truck
Shadow14 Posted July 21, 2008 Author Posted July 21, 2008 Yes it has been in a minor car crash where they had to stretch the fender and replace it but no it will not be a show truck only means to get from point A to point B but it will look pretty nice......... 8)
mjdoa Posted July 22, 2008 Posted July 22, 2008 The turbine jet engine in the bed is a real plus too, but what kinda mileage is it gonna get?
Shadow14 Posted July 22, 2008 Author Posted July 22, 2008 that isnt a engine its a rack of rims and when the fuel injectors are in it will make about 17 mpg city maybr 22 mpg highway
Shadow14 Posted July 23, 2008 Author Posted July 23, 2008 acctually we were thinkin gunmetal gray with blueish interior
