Fullsizexj Posted May 29, 2006 Posted May 29, 2006 Moved out of the shop I had been renting so I brought my current project home, Got a shop being built on the back of my property which should be done soon and then I can get back to work on it
Bounty Hunter Posted May 29, 2006 Posted May 29, 2006  Nice looking project, but it looks like you pulled the straps too tight
Fullsizexj Posted May 29, 2006 Author Posted May 29, 2006 It is sitting at full stuff right now, no nitrogen in the airshocks , It is sitting on some borrowed 39" tires but it was built for 47" LTB's, once the shocks are charged and it gets the right tires, it will look right and sit right, just had to get it moveable for short time, still have alot of adjustments to do
Fullsizexj Posted May 29, 2006 Author Posted May 29, 2006 I am building it for rock crawlin, it is sitting on 2.5 ton rockwells with front and rear steer, I am planning to shorten up the wheelbase some but I had to get it rolling to move so that is why it is what it is, I don't want to mess with the wheelbase until I have the tires I plan to run so I can make sure of clearances when I shorten up the wheelbase
attaboybob Posted May 29, 2006 Posted May 29, 2006  can't wait to see the finished product. ...BOB
pingpong Posted May 30, 2006 Posted May 30, 2006  Nice looking project, but it looks like you pulled the straps too tight   No such thing as strapping something down to hard :brows: Thats why I use 6 straps on my rig  BTW awesome looking project  what t-case, tranny, and engine are you going to use? I am hoping you are going to put a fire breathing 502, or heni on nitrous in it
Fullsizexj Posted May 30, 2006 Author Posted May 30, 2006 Inline 6 stroked to 4.6 AW4 and Dana 300 twinsticked
AZXJ Posted June 4, 2006 Posted June 4, 2006 Impressive work Richard!! You'll love the LTB's.. I just wish they'd make them in 40's.. So I could run them on my MJ..
Fullsizexj Posted June 9, 2006 Author Posted June 9, 2006 Hey there Dave, what up, yeah hopefully they will have the 47x 17" LTBs out by the time I need them, choices in a 17" rim are slim
