  10. My gawd... I think i will have to destroy some natural form of life today..... after trying to replace my dang door locks for two hours the old plastic clips only one survived.. I am not a happy person right now about that.... almost to the point I would rather buy two doors and hang them and paint.. this is some BS!!!
  11. well 4.88 swap being the next step is the with the 8.8 will be future proofing me. I once again,! took some advice from you and put them up for trade. I'll try a slighty less aggresive 35 and see how that goes.
  12. i don't want you to think i don't value your input. why do you think i don't have RK long arm kit???? but I have no problems trying them with 4.88s if they don't work how i want, so be it. off they go. i got them at a good price so making my money back isn't a problem with these. i was just looking for feedback from people that do run this combo.

  15. I only drive it 10 miles to work and home a day. after that i drive the car. so yes, primarily i DD it but it is not used for many miles. Trail use is where it will be used mostly and the 4.88 will hopefully recover a lot of the lost power. As is with the 33's and 4.10s it does wel on the freeway. better than many people here give the 2.5 credit for. 5th gear at 75mph 2800 rpm. no balls in fifth but just drop to fourth and i am fine
  16. yupo. i honestly like it too. but 4.88s are a must with those 36s prolly go 4.0 when i pop this 2.5. hopefully within a year. i think my 2.5 manual with 4.10s did almost as well as my xj did with 3.07 auto 4.0 turning 33s so i can't really complain much.

  20. ok got a sweet deal on some 36's. 80 bucks for four irok 36x13.5x15 just wandering who has 35s and if any pics. I will be going 8.8 in the next few weeks and hopefully 4.88 within a few months to help my 2.5 get some decent nuts back. the 36s won't go on till i get the 8.8 at least. and i do certainly plan on trimming

  22. guess i am lucky i started with 4.10 but those 36's will require 4.88
  23. yeah i still gotta get that 8.8. I priced it at the JY he said for 250 i could get one with discs and 4.10 if he will include the limited slip then i'll get it. that should net 1" of lift with the larger axle tubes. then i'll do some trimming also.
