On a more serious note...Jeepco, your MJ with the super special 'Maro engine package sounds interesting; if I call within the next 10 minutes will you shave another say...6k off?

The hinge is different, but that doesn't matter, the new doors will bolt onto the old hinges (the holes on the door are in the same place). The new style striker also bolts right up to where the old one did, you just have to use the top hole in the new one.

I personally still hang out on NAXJA the same if not more than CC just because it's where I started and there is a huge archive of tech info. I've been a member for about a year and half now and have been using it since 04 when I was 15. The people on here for the most part have a much more laid back temperament, but as with any forum, there are always going to be some that just don't want to comply with how most people think. I, like Eagle, have watched NAXJA go downhill to a certain extent, but I still like it for the most part. JeepCo, I can definitely see where you're coming from though, I watched those threads and even the bold print at the top that said "mods please don't delete this", I can understand your frustration.

Yeah I did, it actually looks better now with A/R Nitro wheels and M/T Baja Claws. I'm trying to sell it solely because I have different projects I want to work on now though, such as another MJ that needs to be resto-modded.

That is just classy. Wow that is a debaucherie...where is the puke smiley when you need it? "When changing the engine, the throttle position sensor did not hook up with the old plug so this causes the motor to idle a little high". Yeah I bet the engine isn't the only thing high after changing it and not hooking a TPS back up. I would not touch that thing with a 10 ft pole for fear the ignorance would spread .

Sorry the gas tank overflow was just a temporary thing. I no longer even use an overflow now, I just have a hose that runs straight to the ground if it should ever overflow. Just like the old days.

Not to hijack the thread but just for all that read it in the future. You can delete the heater control valve without any adverse affects. I have also deleted my snazzy gas tank overflow bottle at this point. This was my before and after... Again not to hijack, just showing the different options out there.

I've had mine for about a little over a year now and it's been fine. I really only play the thing about once or twice a month for a couple hours per time. I'm just waiting though, I'm sure the red lights will come eventually.
