  1. you had to pick thirsty thursday?
  2. thank Eagle...his memory is better than mine :chillin:
  3. I thought TJ coils generated 2 inches LESS lift in an XJ or MJ as opposed to in a TJ. sorry, it's ZJ's that that is the case on...
  4. ok just for you coil, arm, track bar, link :D  :rotfl2: but thk for the info !! If you cared enough to ask the question, properly...you would have put the comma's in there from the get-go.
  5. not as difficult as a "2.1 turbo diesel" badge... :D but yes, the early "metric ton" packages were actually called the "big ton" package. later they became metric ton.
  6. what is a "coil arm" and a "track bar link"? ....the coils net 1-1.5" more lift when you use TJ coils in an MJ (i.e. a 4" TJ coil is a 5-5.5" MJ coil). trackbar is useable. control arms are useable.
  7. thanks man. I didn't make any more progress yet. just finished welding in the inner fender, picked up a good driver's air bag and clock spring from the junkyard, and now I'm finishing up an xj I sold for the buyer. probably won't get much more done to this thing this weekend...I have a customer coming in who needs a new motor, trans, transfercase, and 4wd swap done on his 4 cyl xj...
  8. post pics of the parts. they're probably not OEM, or are not gonna work without modding in the mj...

  11. well, the engine harness is out. I had modified the driver's inner fender in the past for bigger tires...so I grabbed one I had saved from a parts xj, cut mine out, and welded this one back in. ran out of gas for the welder, so I gotta grab more in order to finish it. old on the left, new on the right
  12. just the last 2 pictures I posted. it's angle aluminum actually....and it's bent to a 45 degree angle. that's about as well as I can explain it.
  13. 87-90 unless you're doing a high output swap, in which case, you must do the motor and dash harness.
  14. you supply the parts. I'd assume that doesn't include any paint to match things. nah not paint I'm not worryed about that for now lol we're off topic, but where are you located?
  15. you supply the parts. I'd assume that doesn't include any paint to match things.
  16. the dash is just pissing me off...that was a pain in the butt.
  17. I have something up my sleeve for that. after some checking, I think I can splice the two grounds together, and just use either a renix or a H.O. sender...whichever one doesn't read backwards. bend the float to read perfectly lol.
  18. i'm never doing the swap again...
  19. any chance you have a chart for what wires go to what for the cross over?
  20. does anyone have the crossover for 97+?
  21. Thanks Bo....I was already looking at that. shouldn't be too tough. I'll have a list of stuff ready for ya tomorrow night, so we can work some stuff out...
  22. yeah, since when did you learn to use one of those? woulda thought calculators would be a bit too complex for ya
  23. alot of us aren't old enough to remember that era.
