  1. depending on where the shock mounts are on the axle, he may be better off leaving those on and cutting off the MJ's. I don't know if this will allow him to run his stock springs with a mild lift or not.

    winches

since its your money, buy a warn.
  3. But I love the functions of EFI. :D Definitly agree. But Which would you rather try to fix on the trail? :chillin: neither!
  4. not a bad buy for $5.. how much was shipping? Also, I would sell that axle locally, hit your local club message boards. Put the money you make into a D44 or 8.8 . I think that you are kinda wasting your time swapping in that 8.25.
  5. "Not D.O.T. approved." haha! I like it - wonder what axles he is using?
  6. Yes! people do make money off these sites. But I can assure you that Pete does not. Unless people are donating ridiculous amounts of money for hats and magnets. Pete does this out of his own pocket. It depends on traffic and those willing to click on advertisements, OR some sites run free until they have a ton of information available on their site, then all the sudden they start charging for member accounts, and enable the search feature for "paying" members, it doesnt have to be the search feature, it can be anything. I am sure you know of a site that operates this way... naxja.....
  7. Thanks guys, I really appreciate it.
  8. ouch.... I forgot there is only room for one Comanche site on the internet....

    TIRES

Promise not to chew on your head! haha... Seriously New England is FULL of rock, equal rock to mud, and they perform great on both... boggers have been known to kinda suck on rock, but there is a guy in my club running 35" boggers and he walks all over the rocks, plus its all Dan Dibble uses, haha (youtube that name). It seems that swampers are the desired tire for off-roading here in NE, I think they would to great anywhere personally. Lastly, about the beadlocks, I have seen and heard of these tires coming off of many rims, but they usually are being run at lower psi like 5 to 10, I run mine at 15 and have never had a problem. And the guys I know that run beadlocks are doing some serious rock climbing, or just flat out want the look and can afford it :)
  10. Can anyone help this guy? I am able to help most, but am lost here... http://jeepmj.com/index.php?topic=22.msg0#new sorry for the "spam", but I figure that a fellow MJ'er in need was worth posting. Thanks ya'll

Swamper Q78's probably the last tire youll ever own :)
  12. THE TRUTH! BE AN EDUCATED BUYER! And that little disclaimer you have at the end of your post..... AWESOME! haha! I read it like I was "Mater" from the movie "CARS". :D

    TIRES

in new england it seems that we favor swamper tsl's or ltb's. I run them and have zero for complaints.
  16. wow, when did this start?
  17. drop a small block in it, tub it out and lower it a bit! I have been dying to see one!
  18. that is one clean looking truck. ;)
  19. they are way cheaper than a couple tires.... get one.
  20. get through boot camp and AIT first. You won't be able to afford or have any time to work on one - and when they station you in Korea or worse for the first year having an MJ won't do you any good. So basically wait until your first duty station before buying one. And while your doing all that good training, save up your money.
  21. how are you mounting the rear bumper? any pictures?
  22. I have one in MA if your ever out this way. ;)
  23. I would keep looking, but if you buy it. Good luck.
  24. very nice bumper, you build it or buy it?
  25. Push it half way to your destination, drive it the rest of the way.
