  1. dude thats awesome! nice work on gaining clearance without lift!
  2. wow that was a clean looking xj... can't wait to see what you do with this comanche!
  3. truck looks good! how bout a few pics without flex?
  4. I will say, probably yes. Because there probably has been some sag in your current springs and if it ran okay at full hieght than it will probably be okay with the spacers. AND if you do think your lines are too close for comfort. you can always unbolt them from the frame and bend the lines straight, which is what I did on my roughly 6" of lift.
  5. what wire is hanging down by the ebrake? Is it possible your foot caught it and pulled the wire?
  6. I would check fuses and what have you first. Then I would probably check around the e-brake for hanging wires that may have been pinched or cut when you pulled the ebrake. Your ebrake is in the center console or on the floor?
  7. yes but the cost of regearing this one axle kills this sale for me. I can buy two new axles for the cost to regear one, from a junk yard with 4.** gears. Thats not including the cost to purchase this axle, which will be more than 5 dollars. I say definitally plan on upgrading, but hold off and get the right part first time around. I think ocean state is different than baystate, and not owned by Bliza! :)
  8. how much for a hat and beer thing?
  9. did you get a master from an XJ with ABS? EDIT, sorry Tim, I just learned how to read. We had a tough time with my brother-in-law's s-10 blazer, but once the master was bled (by a mechanic) the breaks worked awesome! I don't know really how to bleed a master, or if you CAN bleed an MJ's master because my bro in laws was ABS... which I guess is different.
  10. i guess if you havent put some support on the frame for your power steering that you should do that too.
  11. what color orange is that?
  12. figures....
  13. its not my straps, its the holes in the frame that the weird "J" bolts fasten to. The rust was so bad that they kinda twisted while I was trying to loosen them and then bent the hole in the frame allowing them to pop right out. Glad you posted about how heavey the tank is, cause I am under it with one hand holding it up like I can support the weight While I remove the straps.... Luckily I ran into a problem and had to stop, otherwise I would have been a darwin award nominee for sure!
  14. I might have to contact him! I think I am close by!
  15. nevermind, I am learning about primer and I don't think I am going to use that now. Any thoughts on cheap spray paint vs. expensive?
  16. Is all spray paint the same? Is the more expensive spray paint worth the extra coin or am I just better off buying a bunch of the cheap $#!& and painting over and over again.... Also, I am mostly asking about primer spray paint, nothing fancy.
  17. tnt, why xj? and, the Oizarod115.. any pics?
  18. I did look into a cell, but in all it would be too much money, so I bought a used tank in what seems to be good contition so far.

    piggy.

not sure I get this, but I will play along. Pigs don't need to poop?
  21. that bumper is awesome looking! Do you sell those Motion?
  22. well, I am in the middle of replacing the tank... and my truck is soooo rusty that I am not sure the "hangers" will work again. So I don't think I have any other option here. And I am pretty dumb when it comes to this stuff, so I do need all the help I can get.
  23. you should have staying in CA, cause MA is going to destroy both of those! As well as you and your family and your wallets and everything you once new was good. I used to hate CA until I moved to MA.... lol
  24. I am searching and getting frustated because I am only coming up with jeepco's convertible thread, which I have never seen and wasnt helpful at all, but it was interesting. And I agree with pong that it need a 1000000000 watt sterio. Anyway, I was hoping there were some threads that showed in detail what was needed to move the gas tank to the bed of the truck. HELP!
  25. Pete said this in the other heater thread: Lets just say that I cut my bumper real short in the front and instead of screwing this "ball" down I kinda let it dangle, then lets also say that one time when I was tooling around that my passanger front LTB was able to grab this ball and launch it very far away from the truck.... The lets also say I forgot where I put said "ball" and have just been driving around with out this "ball" ever since.... We could additionally gander that MAYBE I did have heat before the "ball" earned its wings. What does the ball do exactly?
