Hoping it's just clamp and weld. Lol. Trying to make it so you don't have to beat and form them yourself to fit. 27 lbs actually. Well sorta I was missing some 3/16 pieces and only had em in 10 ga and half of each set was lwb and swb skid I'd say closer to 35 lbs difference.

25-35 lbs a kit or so I'd say.

Trying to gauge what and how I need to order these when they're ready. Hoping the prototype set is done in the next week or 2 **fingers crossed** I'll most likely sell these only as kits. With the exception of possibly the steering box braces and the front crossmember piece I think I'm gonna go try for $650 for 10ga swb and lwb and $750 for 3/16 swb and lwb SHIPPED! Little late now, but is anybody else's birthday on Leap Year? My girlfriend and I both share a leap year birthday. I was born in 92, her in 96. Happy birthday to us. And this is the first leap year birthday weve celebrated together! We didnt so anything exciting though. We are dinner with family last night, did some home furnishing shopping today and now shes going thru future yard sale clothes and I'm putting up closet shelves. Exciting stuff! I had a 78 chinook toyota camper. I liked the body style of it way more than this ones. It was pretty rusted and we only drove it once the 3 years o had it but it was cool. Has anybody used Harvest King brand fluids from Rural King? I've been getting my 01 XJ ready for naxja winterfest next weekend and decided to try RK's stuff out. This "experiment" started when I had to swap AW4s out after I lost reverse in mine from last year's winterfest. (Only took me about 46 weeks to get around to swapping it out). Before I swapped trannys I did a fluid flush to see of that was the issue and used Rural King brand cheap stuff. That didnt fix the issue so... But when I did the swap I had fluid left over so I went and bought more and filled it up. No issues so far with 200 miles on it. Next, I wanted to weld the rear end... So I figured, why not use RK gear oil too since it's cheap. It needed it bad! Ew! So got some new fluid and filled her up. Looked and smelled like any other gear oil I've used... Then, I had to change valve cover gasket and filter and oil. So again, I thought, why not try RK's brand...so i did a $14.47 oil change.... I know the motor oil is made by Citgo so figured it can't be the worst stuff out there... I also think I have Harvest King coolant in it too from a long time ago. This 4.0 has not been treated nicely in the 75,000 miles I've had it. I got it so hot once from a busted radiator that I warped the head, big time! Machined it down and slapped it back on. Then a few years later the jeep went swimming in the frozen river bottoms... jeep floated... got it outta the water, fired up on it's own and drove it home 35 miles. 248k on it. It was way overdue for an oil change this time and about a quart and a half low. I'm just curious if anybody else has used Rural King's Harvest King brand fluida and what your thoughts were on any of it. Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk

Ya, I just swapped in a used aw4 in mine after I lost reverse. $150. It's easy to swap and you could do it 10 times for the cost of rebuilt to stock one. Just a heads up, I ran into this issue, if you have a 98 (and whatever other years apply) use the tranny mount that came with it in whatever year jeep you have. I fought my 01 tranny mount then realized I needed the 98 mount that I took off the swap tranny... Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk
