  1. :rotfl2: :rotfl2: That is friggin' hilarious... :rotfl2: :rotfl2:
  2. My HO 4.0L starts on the second or third revolution every time. My Renix takes anywhere from 5 to 7 every time.

    Air compressor.

I got this (33 gallon) for Christmas in 2005. It's nearly the same thing...just a little bigger. I have used it a lot and love it.
  4. Actualy...these new seats did come with some very nice sliders :D . That handle does stick out a bit, but I got in the Jeep and it does not bother me or seem to be in the way...it just looks a little goofy though. I am going to work on that, but not right now as it is not a real big deal. CW... You definitely make the grade there  I have that same fold up bench that you are using in a couple of your pics there :D .
  5. 8) Cool... I checked out the MJ mounting and it would be a bit of a challenge. The bracket is very narrow compared to the YJ, but if you have some minimal fab ability and materials, then you will be good to go.
  6. The seats are "decent" quality. I am not disappointed in them for the price. I sat in it for just a couple minutes and it is definitely comfortable as that is noe thing I was worried about because the website said if you are bigger than a 40" waist, these seats are going to be too small. I am a 42" and they fit me comfortably with no problem. I will do some measuring on the MJ and see how they line up tonight when I get home. They did bolt in to the stock location on the YJ brackets. beaterjeep -- Yes, the seats coming out will be for sale. I will send you a PM when the other one is done and they are ready to go. You have first dibs
  7. And he is still asking $1000 even when the steering column is already sold
  8. Look at the prices. None of them are worth half of what they are asking...
  9. Here is a shot of one installed. Remember guys...I am installing these in our YJ, not the MJ. They will require considerable custom work to go in an MJ. They do "lean" forward to allow access behind, but it is not a "flip" thing. They have a rotating handle on the side to make them lean forward or back. It takes several turns and both hands to operate that feature. It bolts right in to the factory location on the YJ, but it sits a bit high in the front so I will have to do a little cutting and adjusting to the floor bracket. Not a big deal though as I have already made that adjustment to the driver side when I put the other seats in...kI just never got around to doing the passenger side as it never really mattered anyway ;) The driver seat will be another day as it is going to take a lot more time. We have the Spyder Customs rocker panels on the YJ and the one on the driver side must be removed to do the seat  :headpop:
  10. They're here :jump: I'm at work so I can't do anything but put them in the back of my truck for now though.
  11. :chillin: Chico...you're a freakin' riot... :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

It's all the same... The Oil Co.'s own the government.
  13. Contact 4 Wheel Parts. I know there us at least one in the Atlanta area. They will have someone there that has installed many of these and can likely answer your questions. 4WP and ProComp are the same company ;)
  14. I just checked the tracking. They are in Orlando and "out for delivery" so I should have them later today. I am not sure what a "suspension seat" is honestly... :dunno: I will let you knowon the tilt forward thing when they get here ;)

There is no oil shortage. It's just the government using this to put more money in their pockets. Sure... You can trust the government... Ask an Indian. ;)
  16. I agree that WIX is a great brand. I have personally witnessed the failure of FRAM and the damage it can do. The most common problem with them is internal collapse and blocking of oil flow. I use AMSOIL brand filters because I use nothing but AMSOIL in my stuff. AMSOIL also sells WIX filters, so, IMO, that's a good testament to them as well.
  17. That's good to hear. I know that I have not heard anyone say they were unhappy with the changes so far. I have done it to two of my three vehicles and should soon change the ones in my 2002 Dodge Ram 4.7L. We are working on a magazine article about these injectors right now for a large Jeep magazine called Jrations. I have sent your statement from above to them, but if you wish for it to not be used, just let me know and I will have them drop it. I don't know if they will use it or not, but I thought I would send it as it would be cool (in my opinion) to have some testimony other than mine and the guy writing the article in there ;) .
  18. Shocks can't cause death wobble, but new ones may help reduce the ability to feel it slightly. Death wobble is a side-to-side motion most commonly cause by a loose or bad track bar. Ball joints and control arm bushings are the two next most common causes and tie rod ends fall in there next. Bent rims can cause damage to these parts and ultimately cause death wobble.
  19. Yes...he already has the guages so no need to change anything. It should be a direct swap only needing to be sure that it is a cluster from an '87 - '90 application.
  20. Correct...and with the speedo being off, the odometer is going to be off and therefore throwing off your MPG calculation ;) . If the o2 sensor has not been replaced, you should just do it as that is a regular maintenance item that should be replaced about every 60K anyway. Sounds like you are on the right path to making improvemnets though.
  21. HMMMMM... You may have to contact them and see if the sale is still good. I only found out about it recently, but it has been on for almost 2 weeks best I can tell. I was sent the link from another forum for the Gray ones as that is what I wanted. ;)

    for $1000

If you have another one in sight, then go for it, but I would hate to see you sell it with no idea of where another one is going to come from. ;)
  23. Click here for all color choices  According to FedEx tracking...mine should be here tomorrow :D
  24. Check out my thread on Fuel Injectors here... http://comancheclub.com/forums/viewtopi ... highlight= They are a very big bang for the buck as I have increased my MPG from 14.5 to 17.25 just from changing them in my '88. It's never guaranteed that you will get the same results as there are too many variables, but you should see some improvements. I have put these in our '95 YJ as well as a friends '97 TJ. The YJ and TJ were very recent so I don't have any MPG reports on them yet, but the idle smoothness, acceleration and throttle response were all noticeably and immediately improved in both so far.
  25. The radiator could be clogged and not flowing good enough to cool properly.
