    This axle was swapped in so would I be better off buying a used axle with better gears or buying a set

    I had the b/a in my 89 an thing was junk an I shattered it so now I'm running a ax15 an I'm pretty sure it's same as the one in the other.ill take a photo of it an different cover so we can fully figure out what they changed

    It's not the b\a 10 trans I have one of those for my 89 an I know it's not that. I put 35s up on my truck an I'm just not liking the drive so was trying to see if I axle swapped with my other. If I could get a better ratio but I have 3.73 right now an looking for 4.10 or 4.88. I check what axle is under it tomrow it's a soon to be project truck if I ever get time so haven't really touched it since bought

    It's a 88 4.0 5 speed not sure exactly on what Trans think ax15 maybe

    What is the gear ratio I've came up with 3 diffrent ones from 3 diffrent sources 4.10 4.56 an 4.88 I belive I just want stock ratio.i believe it is the amc20 axle

    So just put a ax15 back in to my mj 2 weeks ago everything got torqued properly an all was fine till today. Started it drove for like 2 miles then when I'd press the clutch it'd make a terrible grinding screeching sound. So I get under it every bolt holding Trans to block was 1/4 OF THE WAY UNDONE. Any ideas wtf is going on. I tightened it back up an it's good now. This confuses me

    I have a short bed with 5.5inch lift on 38s atm I have a drives haft from a long bed I know the splines match but will the length fit?

    I have a 89 Comanche an I got a free Jeep trans from a friend but the shaft that slides into pilot bearing.in back of engine is 3/4 instead of the 1/2 anyone got a part number for the 3/4 bearing or link?
