  1. I'm honestly not really worried about performance, so I may just go ahead and look for an ax-5. I don't want to spend a ton of time hunting down parts on this. Thank you for the information.
  2. Hello, I just got back into the Comanche game after a 10 year hiatus. I have a 2WD 88' with the 2.5 unfortunately it has the automatic. Id like to swap a 5 speed into it. Is the ax15 the best option? Or is it just easier to go with whatever the factory 5 speed that came with these was? Thank you.
  3. ya that's what I thought originally but the part numbers don't match up. it might fit anyways I guess. I agree with the 2.8 but those things are IMPOSSIBLE to find.
  4. it doesn't look like I can pull another one of these out of any 4.0 or even the 2.5 yj's (according to part numbers on autozone) anyone know if there is another jeep with a compatible starter?

  11. I've seen this, not on an mj but it was pretty cool. truck blew a driveshaft in the mudpit and didn't make it very far though.
  12. I want a mp3 for that song. best ringtone ever.
  13. have seen a bunch of people around the Internet say the radiators in the 2.5 and 4.0 are the same, but part numbers just don't seem to match up for my 89mj. was curious if there is another vehicle I can grab a used radiator out of at the junkyard?
  14. I'm sick of leaking oil. anyone have a metal valve cover from a 91 or up wrangler they would be willing to part with?
  15. I have a perfectly clean driving record and I pay 70$ a month for my 89 mj. No idea how you could possibly only pay 40$ a month.
  16. This thing is great, can't wait to see a finished product.
  17. Just removed my cat a month ago and put in a glasspacK. Runs better then it did before and sounds great. Haven't noticed any drawbacks yet.
  18. Just picked up a 2door 5 speed Cherokee for my everyday driver, so I am looking to lift my 89 shortbed mj. I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions on brands and such. Only looking for a 4.5-6incher long arm. Price range is around 1k, but certainly wouldn't mind finding a good lift in the 500-700 dollar range. Any good/bad experiences with brands on theirs mjs would be appreciated.
  19. My MJ hit 150k last week only about 2k of which I put on. My little sisters ZJ with the straight six hit 280 recently. I'd take pictures but I'm not home!
