  1. Browsin' comanches on ebay again and ran across this "jeep comanche stetson" and case! Even has the label inside stating it. Never heard of these before. Size 7, too small for my fat head though. Can't see an old hippie wearin' a cowboy hat anyway. :chillin: Image Not Found
  2. Believe it or not, got mine off donation car lot @ the salvation army! :chillin:

  10. Excellent point on the angles!
  11. I'm having the same dilema, have a winch sitting in my living room screaming to be mounted one way or the other. Talkd with techs at an off-road shop, they seem to favor the idea of bumpers with recievers and and use of a good winch cradle. For the same reasons as you stated and being able to switch to rear also when wired up with quik-disco's. I'm leaning this way since i too have both a mj and xj that are used alternately. I think the key here is well built reciever bumpers along with the same in a cradle. Warn apparently makes a good one of the latter. :chillin:
  12. Has anyone had the heater draw excessive juice? watch my guage needle drop close to red when i switch on heater, then there are times also when it doesn't blow heat as it should. Any suggestions? Checked alt, it's puttin out as it should. As soon as you turn heater off, guage returns to normal.
  13. have the same problem with mine, gonna try the cps also. Glad to here that it's workin for ya. Been driving me nuts cuz it doesn't occur all the time.
  14. Yea,32x12.50x15 on hellcat centerlines.Don't think I woulda had clearance prob in rear but trimmed them anyway. Prob was with turning in front. Really think I would be ok with 33's now. But happy with the way the 32's look and perform. :chillin:
  15. Spring over 5". Truck sits about 6-6.5" with tires.
  16. Image Not Found have to make room for 32's Image Not Found made my cut with 4"grinder and zip blade, came out pretty clean! Image Not Found used trim molding off salvage yard door jams with paint and silicone to prevent rust. looks better than anticipated. Image Not Found kept spot welds in tack and cut enough for trim to cover holes on rear fendersImage Not Found friend finishing relief cuts on internal flanges, bent over and prepped for new undercoating Image Not Found all said and done, not to difficult to accomplish.only piece of advice to pass on is to listen to others about wearing gloves! Zip cut three of my fingers! Nothing a little bondo won't fix! :brows: Image Not Found Good practice for the next fender mod.........my xj :chillin:
  17. You say no to spacer. Would love to hear your take on it. thanx
  18. Do they not make a throttle body spacer for the '86 2.5L comanche? Is because of the type of injection?
  19. If i gotta adjust bump stops i think i'll try the hockey puck trick. Gotta friend here that showed how well it worked.Alot cheaper and just as stout. :chillin:

  25. BTW Pete, what mod did you do to your front wells? Can't decide to remove flares & cut n trim,go with cut and tj flares,or someone said cut and raise existing, tho i don't have the lower body trim to blend into. KO
