Called Nate Saturday - he ran into an issue with the motor. He is going to reschedule something for us to attend at another time. I think he just told you that knowing the real truth would break everyone's heart. I got a PM from him saying he absolutely couldn't go through with the swap without me being present hahaha! God, I really hope that's not the truth :rotfl2: . I am down for helping out still, I'm feeling "normal" again RockMJ

How did you guys make out? RockMJ

Hey guys, I won't be able to make the trip. I actually have my MJ up for sale (not by my choice trust me). Ive been fighting a nasty case of pneumonia and because of that, ive been out of work more often than ive been there. With that said, bills are pilling up so I'm trying to make things right by letting the MJ go to a good home. Really sorry about not being able to make the wrench fest guys. If anyone is interested, the MJ is up for sale in the for sale section RockMJ

I should probably also note that my voltage meter is always below 14, even when driving. Any chance the alternator just can't keep up? I had planned on replacing it because turning the heat on with the headlights pretty much kills the voltage and it ends up around 10-12. Just a thought and any input is appreciated RockMJ

Hey guys, just got a chance to drive the MJ at night for one of the first times and I noticed something strange. I noticed when I hit the brakes there is a moment where the all of the cab lights go dim. Has anyone ever experienced this before and if so, any pointers on fixing it? The only thing ive done recently is add an LED third brake light inline with the brake light wiring. Any chance this could be the issue? Any solutions to fixing it? Thanks in advance and sorry if this has been covered before RockMJ

Here are a few pictures of the 3rd brake light mounted RockMJ

here's the third brake light. It has 12 super bright red LED's to help the elderly in FL see my Jeep lol. Here are some pictures, it measures 7" long by 1" tall and 1" wide. Pretty slim setup and I'm really happy with how bright it is. Ill have to post pictures of it all finished up later. It also has a rubber gasket with it and it is a flush mount setup Sorry about the pictures being a bit dark, ill get some better ones later. I bought it from autolumination.com. They have a ton of different styles and sizes, but I wanted something smaller with great light output! Very happy so far RockMJ

Received my LED third brake light in the mail. Now I just need to tint it and get it mounted and wired. Cannot wait! RockMJ

Any reason you didnt degrease it and slap some paint on it? Jealous though :D RockMJ

Completely awesome man! I FINALLY got my fuel leak situation under control. What a PITA that was. Pretty much every o-ring kit they gave me was "the correct one" which in fact was a lie lol. I pretty much argued up and down with the guy at the parts counter that the fuel rail and intake manifold o-rings were different sizes. Probably should have know I would have issues when he said "Oh, ive never heard of a Jeep truck before. Is it like a Wrangler?" haha. On a different note, is that shop at your house or what? Pretty awesome setup and I'm still madly in love with the Carryall RockMJ

Well if you plan on keeping the motor in there for a while it might be a good idea to get the porting done. On a side note, my wife and I couldnt make it to Jeep Beach bc of work. I would have loved to take the LJ out on the beach. But it sounds like well be meeting up soon to get your MJ back up and running! RockMJ
-
Alright man, just let me know. And could you post a picture of what you have so I can check it out first? Thanks RockMJ

Finally got the correct o-rings to fix my leaking fuel rail. Thoroughly cleaned the injectors and ports and the MJ is running MUCH better now. Also, ordered up some goodies for her as well :clapping: RockMJ

Serious? Yeah you are literally right down the street from me. Well damn man, youll have to hit me up if you need a hand wrenching too. Let me know so I can get everything together on my end and make the haul up there. Should be interesting for my MJ's first long trip RockMJ

How much for it and I would need it shipped. Any idea on shipping to 34652? Thanks man RockMJ
