I'm kind of having an issue with them as well. ordered some items, they didn't ship all of the items (I'm guessing they were out of stock) normally they just refund your account when something is out of stock (and ship what they have) but I have not seen a refund, a few emails, a few phone calls with no answer voice mail only, Items shipping from Kenosha county classics, 7600 57th ave, Kenosha WI 53142. who knows guess I will wait a few more days. maybe I will get an email back.

I honestly have never seen one in person. I have only had black oem mini consoles. I guess it would have to come out of an xj as i have yet to have seen a black interior mj with a full console. Regardless if someone somewhere has one let me know. I will pay all shipping charges threw my ups account as well. Let me know. Thanks

I guess my next problem is that it is currently locked and in order to remove the cylinder it needs to be turned..and i only see a tiny pin hole next to the trim ring that must be the retain pin then

Well I'm going to try and take it apart and see what happens. Do you need to re install all the tumblers when u put it back together or just a couple if any that match up to say my ign key.

I'm not sure if the tj lock is the same style as the yj for that quadratec link. And it says it doesnt come with any tumblers. So if i just take mine apart. Wouldnt i have the same thing.. I may try taking it apart. But i have a funny feeling it will be harder to put back together.

Idk where you could find a new cylinder. And i can care less about the security factor of the console at all. I just want it to function. You can force open the console by hand regardless

I bought a used oem center console for my 94 YJ and I don't have a key for it.. I have called around to my local "locksmiths" and no one wants to mess with making a new key for me. I would love a new key made to fit the lock or heck maybe even make it match my ignition switch (that's asking for a lot but you never know) Anyone out there know anyone I can send my lock cylinder and have a key made mail order like?

The above link is me... i have other mini consoles as well. Some in better shape than others. The stuff on my ebay store is the cream of the crop i try to make sure all my xj/mj stuff on there is near perfect condition... thats why i ask and get the money i do for my parts. and i can set it up how ever needed. I have full consoles as well.

I have one from a renix 89 2.5. It does not use the special connector on the upper firewal

I have one like you posted in a two car garage with a drop ceiling with lots of blow in insulation up top and regular insulated walls it works good. But i leave it on low and it has a thermostat so i turn it way down at nite but i rarely turn it off completely. Like someone said previously if u think ahead of time it will work good.. gas was not an option for me as lp is costly and id rather not suck the tank down anymore than the house already does.
