  1. Yes I wuld recomend the removal of the golf balls and use the airsoft pellets. 8oz is the corect. Balancing weight for your tires I had to double check that my self lol.
  2. Yeah I figured it out thanks for the replyes guys. I just figured it was gona be the same process as any other car or truck I had put new studs in. I got just one side front done. I'm thinking for the next one I'm using a press. The way I had tryed to do this was by placing them in the using. Lug nuts to pull the studs into place. Used a half inch drive ratchet with a 4' cheater pipe still didn't seat them all the way. So my dad ended up using a bfh and a punch to set them.
  3. so i order in from napa all lug studs and lug nuts. i get them and icant get them to pull thru the hub on my mj any body know is there a differance in the 89 lug studs as this is what they orderd them in for :fs1: and the 86 lug studs? and if there is what is the part # for the 86 studs?
  4. golf balls are bad they will break belts and dent aluminum rims.not to mention if you are lucky they just turn to powder and when that gets wet it clumps and realy throws ballance off. that and the golf balls will do no balancing till they break down as they are 2 large masses rolling around. the concept of internal ballance is to add more mass via powder or pellets in the low mass area of your tires. the powder or pellets will spread out to do this where as the golf balls will not.
  5. I used to work for a trucking company and they used internal balanceing. The sand or powder was terraBle when it got wet. There is also a rubber pellet for balancing tires that work great. These trucks were used for everything from rock quarrys to scrap yards lots of slow driving and hyway use. Tires wore better and had less vibration than the stick on weights.
  6. Looks great so far I'm watching this with great intrest. Steve irwin was a child hood hero of mine aswell. Seeing how my boxsides are prety much junk I may have to build a flatbed for mine aswell. I always loved watching him runaround in that old toyota.

  9. Hmm let's see pulled a busted isuzu with it. Put comanche club windsheild decal on yester day. Checked to see if lincolin rims wuld fit on it they do but spacers wuld be nice. And got som 31s for it aswell bfg at-ta baha champs. 50$
  10. Nice mj. YeaH the comanches are small next to an f250 but check the ground clearance that's what counts. Get the comanche lifted and then park next to it lol 3" will suprise u.
  11. If I can't get both mine formed then I will have to call around to the jy and see if anybody has some. Realy hope I don't have to do that but if I do then I do.
  12. I was realy hoping to just find some. If I have to I will just get some sheet/metal and bust out the body hammer set and go to work there is enoff of the corners there that I can shape the metal around then cut and weld I just wish there were more parts for these trucks.
  13. Mosburg moddle 88 mavrick 12 gage pump. Or mosburg moddle 702 plinkster 22lr (first gun). And cva buckhorn 50cal blackpowder. All are light all are black all shoot accurat. Looking at 1911 45 acp not sure on make yet love the taurus pistols for sure.
  14. Any body know where to find cab corners for the comanches? I have looked and can't seem to find them floor pans on the other hand are simple to find fenders are to. But the outer corners are in bad shape on my mj and I wuld like to get them replaced before the inners start rusting away.
  15. Mine is an 86 5spd don't have to use clutch from 2 ta 4h but as always 4l is another story. As for backing up 10 feet its recomended for most 4x4s as it allows the hubs or cad to disconect unless its like mine and permalocked then all ya got to do is right back to 2 and down the road.
  16. pic day pic as you can see i slightly buggerd up the m and the b :wall:
  17. resizing test.
  18. I do I just have to get a account to get them here.
  19. Got the deacl on today. :clapping: it was a pita there was plenty of  and I ruind one of the decals (that's why I got 2). So for anybody going to put there's on the wet tek works but wet a cloth and run it over the backing when ya get it smothed out on the windsheild cause the glue is prety strrong holding it to the papaer backing and the window cleaner I used for cleaning the glass (used soapy water to apply the decal) worked fairly well to help losin the glue on the backing. Just thaught I wuld share my experiance
  20. Thanks much I was wondering if the glue worked well with the wet aplication. So the anser is yes.
  21. Realy no help? Anyone evin put one on there comanche?
  22. so what i am geting from this is that inorder to bleed our brakes we need to trip a safty feature? can some body please explain to me why this has to be done in detail? i guss i have never had any vehicle that required such complicated proceidure. sorry for the :hijack: :hijack: but i need to know as my rear line has a hole in it that i am going to be fixing shortly.
