First I'll say, I ran a Hanson front bumper on my XJ and then cutomized it to fit my linked Sidekick. It was a great bumper and held up well. Second, I in no way got the impression that he was saying anything about Hanson taking his money and running. You just had to hunt for a way to make your post seem like the situation was not your fault and that he was bashing you. I felt his initial post was straigh up and fact oriented. Third, The MJ rear bumper is simply a Early Bronco rear bumper with new mounts. Not that tough to get into production if you ask me. Seems it must have just been a priority situation within the company, that is fine if the sales people are open and honest about it. Fourth, If you work with Hanson or not is irrelevant to the point of your lack of being up front and honest about knowing if and when the bumpers would be ready. When I ordered my first bumper from Hanson it was him I spoke with, just a small company trying to get there feet off the ground. Bushwacker using them in there adds really helped Hanson make a name for himself. I like that, I like Hanson. I understand and respect Hanson selling his company/name to Full traction. I don't like that it happened though. As a buisness person I like seeing small companys expand and make it, I just hate seeing what bigger companys do to the name sometimes. I hope this doesn't continue to be the way Hanson is pertrayed by FT and its affiliates. Cheers, Jason

Willy. Yup thats right. I dropped straight down were black jeep in your picture is sitting. I then basically ran the rocks like a V crack. The key is keeping your tire up on the right side rock on the way out so you don't drop in. Some people don't trust staying up on that rock and there rear end falls in the crack and then they get all kinds of messed up in there. 3 out of the 5 of us didn't trust the line and got damage in there due to falling in. The white jeep and I stayed right and walked it clean with no problems. -

Willy, I'm guessing what your asking is my line through each of the difficult spots in the trail?? I assume you don't mean the way to the trail head. If you do we head towards BFE but before getting there hit the riverbed by going under the little bridge. We wanted to see Britney Spears so we took the long way.. Holy $#!&...Brittney Spears is about a 100 Yard loop that is just nasty. I can't imagine anything but a buggy in there or a REALLY beat to crap rig. Here is the lines I took through the major obstacles since I think that is what you meant. PS....EXXON, yes I tried to drive the fall but did have my winch line attached with min. slack. Just isn't safe not to on that with our size rigs. First obstacle, drop straight in off top and then straddle the v crack all the way out. Points were you softly go driver or passenger are the key to this, cause if you fall in its a b*@$£ to get out and especially un scathed. On the way out you basically run your driver slider along rock on right and just miss the ledge on left with your pass. front corner Second obstacle ( we all hit the wall a little ) You run in and cut hard left sidehilling the wall and keep it as tight as possible. The problem is the wall you climp out pushes you towards wall so basically if you have any tail hang its going to hit. If you want you can always get a truck up above and winch your rig off the wall, but we wanted to see if we could use body weight this year instead. With winch 3 out 5 got damage last year. 5 out of 5 this year not using winch for help. Ill go back to download a few more pictures and post the rest of the major obstacles and how I got through them. Cheers, Jason. -
Beautiful truck!!

Ran upper hellderado today. First real body damage to the bed. All 5 rigs were scarves on the trail. My damage was on waterfall mostly. -

Ran green day and part of upper hellderado backwards today. I got very light driver door damage and broke 2 axles today. Flipping great day. I don't think I would have broke the shafts with 4:1. With stock case tourque converter is loading up so flipping bad. Calling Tera tomorrow to see if I can get parts before trips over. -

JohhnyC: Ya, I give the credit to wheelbase. The MJ has some on both 2 and 4 door XJ's and I had just enough that it pretty much did all the work for me and walked right up. Brandon: I'll try and keep it straight, Upper Hellderado is the trail that will challenge me at keeping the truck straight the most I think. I'll continue to add pictures here, and on my build thread. How you guys like my escavating rear bumper. Its a pretty good scoop....lol.

can't wait to see this one finished up. Love those wheels!

I know some don't follow all the builds on here, so figured I'd throw up a few pictures here in the pub for those that didn't know I'm in Moab with my MJ right now. Here is a youtube video of the Manche clearing Widow Maker with ease and some other random shots from Moab. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pAuRy9Cj ... r_embedded

How did you figure out how much to use per wheel? Thanks, Willy Dyna beads says about 8 ounces. So I went heavy to be safe and did 350 grams. Figured heavy over light. Dynas sight shows what you need, I just knew I figured over was better than lighter.I got $23 into my airsofts, my buddy has $90 into his dyna beads. -

Did Moab rim today and it went well. Here is a couple pictures. Was girlfriends first time on real rocks. She loves it, just wants to drive...lol. We plan to hit Pritchet Canyon and run it both directions. Will be a long day tomorrow. I'll try to be better about getting pictures. The MJ did great. Only issue I had was the tires caught the straps I use to hold sway bar up and ripped one loose. Duct taped it and removed the whole swaybar when I got back to condo. I had kinda kicked around getting the Currie xj anti-rock. I've decided its a must...I tried to order one today but could not get ahold of the place I want to get it from...so I'll be ordering one monday morning out of Utah so I should have it by tuesday or wed. -

Well were in Moab. We left thursday at about 6:30pm and drove straight though. We arrived to our condo at 3:30 friday. Pretty much unloaded, went to dinner at Bucks Steak House. If your in Moab and there open you gotta eat the buffalo burger with duck bacon on it...amazing. Today were pretty much just getting everything ready to go and buttoned up. We will do a mellow run this afternoon up the Moab rim trail. The MJ is looking good, I got the cage done and everything buttoned up before we left. Got my spare strapped down to and my spare driveline (thanks Cody) and my axleshafts secured to the cage. I forgot to get my cage pics downloaded so I'll do that later, but for now here is pictures of the drive to Moab and a shot of the condo. Were right by the new aquatic center here in Moab. Nice location. Cheers, I'll try my best to keep the updates coming each day with pictures from our trail runs!
