  1. I've been meaning to do the same too, I can't stand that stupid rattling noise... :thwak:
  2. That's the thing I can't stand... when I see a nice Comanche chopped up, jacked up 15" in the air, with 45" tires on it... :ack: If its stock, and nice, keep it that way.
  3. Full time student at Worcester Polytechnic Institute
  4. :hmm: I think I am going crazy... Thanks! I'll check and see if there is one there.
  5. Hey all, took out my interior, and while doing so, accidently knocked off this spring that was connecting the clutch pedal to something. Anyone have any idea? Or a picture of where the spring connects to? That'd be the easiest way for me to see. I have the BA10/5 tranny.
  6. There should be another diagram in the same thread you found that picture that has the XJ proportioning valve, but it is essentially the same, just one less port (in the back).
  7. I don't believe you can get them new from the store, your best bet would be a junk yard.
  8. Yes, that's the one I am talking about.
  9. Excellent. Still unsure about the carpet padding and what to do. Hmm... Also, I remembered my last question. The inner boot for the 5spd is torn to bits, will this replacement work? http://www.teamgrandwagoneer.com/parts/ ... /4630.html I know it says for the I4 but I wasn't sure if that totally made sense... Any idea? EDIT: Also, you can take off the bench seat covers and wash them correct? I know there is a zipper in the back but how to you get the end to come off since it seems to be trapped. Any idea? It is ok to wash them in a washing machine correct? What is the best way to get the carpet clean? I thought about renting a Rug Doctor and trying that out. It doesn't have to be pristine but it definitely needs a good wash down.
  10. Hey all, finally got around to pulling my interior to fix my floor. I have a couple questions about what to do. 1) What size sheet metal should I use? I'm going to go down to the local hardware store and pick some up. I think I remember reading 16ga or 18ga? 2) I doubt I will be putting my insulation pad back in, what is the best alternative to use? Trying to stick to a cheap budget, but let me know what you used! Crap... I thought I had a couple more questions, but can't think of them now! I'll probably post them later... Thanks guys!
  11. Actually think I am going to get some new Moog CC782 (for V8 ZJ) instead. Probably better the ride, since the fronts seem sagged out too.
  12. Just replaced both my rear springs with units from a local junkyard, and it seems that my original ones were really sagged out. I'd like to put some spacers up front, any particular brand you prefer? I mean, there doesn't really seem to be anything to them, but I'm very meticulous about that kind of stuff. Let me know, I appreciate it. Thanks!
  13. The reason why thermostats are in an engine is because it has an optimal running temperature. You WANT your engine to heat up quick, which is why the thermostat is there, because, again, the engine performs optimally at a certain temperature, which is controlled by the thermostat. I'd put one back in quick..
  14. I wish I could find some of those locally, I had hurricanes on my '89 Power Ram, absolutely love the look... DAMN!
  15. Found another one. Although this seems more like it for the asking price. http://nh.craigslist.org/cto/2639124298.html
  16. So, as long as its from the 2.8 V6 it will read correctly for the 4.0?
  17. So if I have an '84 tach on my way to me to be swapped in an '88, I will have to change the cable?
  18. http://nh.craigslist.org/cto/2614053498.html Seems a little pricey...
  19. I think that will be a fine replacement. In reality, as everyone else as said, you are much better off ordering directly from the manufacturer or going through a site like Newegg or Tigerdirect. Will come with less bloatware (but not bloatware-free) and you don't have to deal with the middle man if anything ever happens. Warranties can be handled directly by the manufacturer. Congrats and good luck on your buy, never had a Toshiba myself, nor have I heard bad things about them.
  20. Just as the title says. Would like to cheap as possible, please PM with a total price to 01468
  21. Was it going to cost more than $600 to get your MJ back on the road?... :dunno:
  22. Cool, thanks. I appreciate it. Think I will order some from Motion Offroad. EDIT: Or actually, they are cheaper at Rustys, but I am not sure if they include nuts. Decisions, decisions...
  23. I have a D35. How about the thread for these U-bolts? I suppose it doesn't matter if I get matching nuts to with them correct?
