  1. I hear sandpaper does the trick pretty good
  2. Checked the temp off the thermostat housing with an infrared thermometer. yeah, heat blows just fine.
  3. yeah some do but in this case seems to be only the one. Its a 3 wire that is under the thermostat housing. Every place I called only lists one.
  4. Got a 99 GT 3.8 with some cooling system issues that have me stumped. Gauge reads high even though engine temp is normal and the fans don't come on. hot wired the fans and they work fine, checked the fan fuses and replaced the two relays. Also replaced the coolant temp switch, new thermostat and fresh coolant. Is there something I'm missing or could the ECM be faulty....?

    Toilet Paper

And that's when the fight started.......
  6. Eh its not just autozone. its plenty of other places in this world too. Certain people would just be better off as cheap labor on a farm or something.
  7. So the other day I go to Autozone to get a exhaust flange gasket. The guy at the counter pecks away at his computer and then goes in back. When he returns he says they don't have that gasket but says I can make my own and hands me a sheet of #$@%^(*!^ CORK!!! I asked him if he truly was that stupid and then asked if his boss was around so I could punch him in the mouth for hiring him. All the while hes looking at me like a deer in headlights. Needless to say I walked out gasket-less and got one elsewhere........... Anybody else have any exciting trips like that to the parts stores???
  8. Nice one Jim, to add to that I would take it one step further and give her a chrome washer in place of a ring.

  11. The holes needed for the visors are a NON issue and easily reversible with a welder if you choose later on to remove it. I see a few people are always focused on the holes and i gotta say....RELAX people, its only sheet metal.
  12. Sounds good. Thanks
  13. The only contact I know personally in CA is Shelbyluvv and I have no clue what shipping would be on something like that.......
  14. If they are Lund visors there will be a stamped part number on the top edge on the passenger side. Should also say Minneapolis, MN or Mpls, MN which is where they were based at the time. Not sure if they still are though.
  15. hmmm wonder what shipping would be...... is it tilt?
  16. Have you tried changing his food? sometimes that helps. Otherwise get a second one. Maybe he's lonely and needs a companion

  23. Well that works then. added bonus its a cpl bucks cheaper too.
  24. Not sure that one for the wrangler would work. It has that notch in it and also the hole is off center. Id be worried it would split pretty easy because of that. I could be wrong though.
