  10. get some pbblaster soak them. also make sure you invest in some line wrenchs so you won't strip it and have to use visegrips...
  11. not running any factory wiring so i don't wana try to get em to work right w/ a GM motor and painless harness. plus theyll be more accurate. and cooler lookin :D some small 3 in gagues should fit for hte speedo and tach. some 1 7/8 for the other 4 tho.

  15. koo I'm gona get out the ole summite catalog at work tomm and chekc diameters and prices :D
  16. anyone done this to an xj or mj cluster? i took my cluster apart today and got the idea to run auto meter gauges in it behind the factory plastic cover n such. I'm just curious if anyone else had this idea.
  17. eh i only gave like 45 bux shippped for that piece, tis new. i shoulda got the lower panel to sincei think the RHD one is diff than the LHD  o well, ill make one if i got to. i can't wait for it tho, i relocated the hood release to the right side tonite, looks factory :D i wanted just a plain one since I'm prob gona paint it anyways.
  18. I'm sure they did, they put 8.8s in almost everything. rangers(90 up 4.0,02 up 3.0) explorer/sport tracs(all years)/mustang(v8 including cobra irs will work)/tbird-cougar(supercoupe and v8)/f150(v6,not sure on year, some base model 4.6s maybe)/new explorer irs 8.8 ring and pinion will work also.....
  19. explorer leafs are SOA and rangers are SUA, but you could just flip the center pin, no biggy. FYI b4 you pull them out, mark the front and rear. i could be wrong, but the pin i don't think is quite in the direct center of hte leafs(plus there wouldnt be any headache i would assume). explorer 4 door leafs will definatly be stiffer then ranger leafs(i had explorer leafs and rear end in my old 92 ranger), depending on what ranger you look at(std cab, motor size etc) will determine spring rate. also towing package and 4x4. i would look for 4x4 explorer leafs from a AWD or v8 explorer/mountaineer w/ towing package. i would assume those would be the stiffest if stiffness is what your looking for. or just feed em some viagra :D
  20. found me a dash bezel to :D
  21. ok i just paid 96 bux shipped for this new OEM RHD dash shell. all i need now is the bezel, maybe the cluster:D if i can't find a bezel, ill modify my LHD bezel to work :D I'm prob gona run some autometer gauges or sumthin. from http://discountjeepparts.com
  22. sweeet. all i need is the dash, bezel, and cluster :D i did find a new OEM dash for 80 bux on jeepparts.com or sumthing like that, they just don't have the instruement bezel.
  23. i would use atleast 1/8th wall cuz the stock rails are 14gauge if I'm not mistaken.
  24. also dumping freon into hte atmosphere and not recovering it is ILLEGAL as hell. also take the belt off, idler pulley, and the lines once pressure is recovered, the a/c comp is only 2 bolts and 2 nuts, 14mm i believe :D
