  3. NICE! what made you go with stainless? it's the most expensive compared to aluminum or zink coated steel AN fittings.
  4. is that a stainless adapter? or is it aluminum?
  5. Eagle spell it out in this post, toward the end: viewtopic.php?f=2&t=22773&p=235043&hilit=bolt+proportioning+block#p235043
  6. i am interested in the swapping the clutch line to AN. but have not done it yet so i have no incite to help you. please post up your pics in DIY project writeup: AN Plumbing: http://www.comancheclub.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=28494&start=15 Thanks
  7. i ordered some more poly track bar bushings. MOOG Part # K3176 now that i know about the stock undersized T/B bolt, i will fix it on all my jeeps drilled them up to 1/2 :clapping:
  8. :agree: more pics of Fab, unibody stiffening & custom fender wells please.
  9. thanks, I went today & got 1/2 grade 8 bolts w/ nylon lock nuts & got it bolted backup ;) & i got my poly trans mount today :brows:
  10. thanks for the good feed back & great suggestion on the motor mounts !!! i still have front end noise! I checked the track bar & noticed play in the axle side. the bolt is tight but the track bar still has play. I removed the track bar & noticed the stock bolt (3/8) is way to small for the hole in the axle! It fits the sleeve in the rubber bushing on the TNT track bar. Is hardened so i can't drill it out. So i burned out the rubber bushing! I have A spar track bar with a poly bushing . i used the poly bushing with a 7/16 bolt & it still is not a tight fit in the hole on the axle side. looks like i am gona drill it up to 1/2 (3/8) (7/16)
  11. A pic of my TNT U bolt eliminators & a pic of a friends RuffStuff's setup
  12. :agree: easy & worth while! DIY: how to=http://www.comancheclub.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=8093
  13. it will boost up the rear about 4'' to 5'' depending on the height of the leaf perch. i run a D44 with 1 1/2 u bolt eliminators it sits about 5'' with out the shackle http://www.tntcustoms.com/u-bolteliminiators.aspx or if you don't like the idea of u bolt eliminators. RuffStuff makes Quality leaf perches & beefy 5/8! U bolts http://www.ruffstuffspecialties.com/catalog/D44SS.html
  14. Ideally you don't want the axle to be at full droop. You just want to support the axle a little, without compressing the coils. Its not coil over's, they are Fox 2.5 by 10inch Bypass Shocks, and Fox Bumps with Deaver Coils. If you are interested, check out page 4 of my build thread, link is at the bottom of post.

  16. that is what i am looking for! A trans mount that will perform well off road & is firm. i don't like all that motor & trans movement. i hear if you swap one mount to poly (motor or trans) you need to swap all to poly. no mixing rubber & poly mounts? is this the mount that you run? http://www.jeepinoutfitters.com/scripts/prodView.asp?idproduct=1468
  17. Yes Keep your jack stands under the the Frame rails, between the LCA mount & the trans cross member. Do not place them further back then the trans cross member! My long arm brackets force my jack stands Back to the cross member, but you can see that you can put them much further forward towards the stock LCA mounts , this macks the truck much more sturdy
  18. Lots of noises in the front end! the only things that is still stock on the front Axle, are the unit baring hubs & the Axle shafts I R&R the new hubs today. Remove Reinstall
  19. so you are saying there is more vibration at idle? How do they run off road?
  20. :agree: X 3 Thanks!
  21. Any budy run poly motor & trans mounts? how much firmer is it than rubber mounts?
  22. Do you plan on going up threw the custom fender wells with the coilovers & mount to the engine cage ? or do they mount on the under side? & what stroke are the Fox 2.5 coilovers?
  23. I've got some bed engine movement / vibration. I'm going to swap to polyurethane motor mounts & poly trans mount.
  24. i see in your pics that the bed is still on the truck. why work around it? why not remove the bed & do all tubing tied to the plated rear frame? then add bed skins.
