  1. For sure, happy to let you know if it sells before you are ready.
  2. Well if it’s still around you may have to snag it!
  3. I’m tossing around the idea of selling my SWB sportbar. It would have to be picked up, I won’t ship. Located in Great Falls MT. It does not have the factory brackets for underneath the rig but I did pick up a set of aftermarket ones from this group that would be included. Needs a little paint but outside of that it is in great shape! I’m firm on the price as I have no reason sell it other than to make a good chunk of change. It will just continue to appreciate in value.
  4. Been really enjoying the Overland tent setup but I think it may be time to bring the ol’ Comanche back to its roots this spring and finally install that SWB factory Roll Bar I picked up a while back. It’s been fun though! Not sure how if I should adjust this setup for both to fit but if I can’t maybe I’ll pick up another cheap rig I can turn into my camping vehicle ⛺️ Love the tent and rack setup however so if anyone is interested in knowing what I went with, let me know
  5. Thank you sir, I’m glad you enjoyed it!! More to come.
  6. Thats awesome! Thanks for the sub!
  7. https://youtu.be/boI0OFe4FDs I hope you enjoy! This is my first attempt this style of video so give it some love! Appreciate you all
  8. Project Overland Comanche is officially ON! I’ve already filmed the first video, which will be releasing in about a week. The format will be more of a relaxed, camp-with-me style experience. I couldn’t be happier with how my overland adventure in the Jeep turned out, and I’m excited to share it with you all. I’ll keep you posted as the video gets closer to release. If you’d like to follow along and be part of the adventure, I’ll drop the link so you can subscribe. YouTube.com/@montanaoffroad1
  9. Hello everyone, I’m in the process of building my Comanche into a camping rig and need some advice. I already have a rack and tent setup, but I’m looking for a way to keep water out of the bed and off my gear when it rains. Since a topper won’t work with my current setup, does anyone have recommendations for an aftermarket cover that could get the job done? Thanks in advance!
  10. Actually very minimal so far! I hear the get louder as the wear down however. I’m not concerned however 🙂
  11. It was time to wrap some fresh rubber around these 37 year old wheels. I stepped up a size to 33x10.5r15 and I love you new look. Went with some BFG KM3’s and I am loving the new size and tires so far! Let me know what you think!
  12. Hey guys, a while back I bought a Roll Bar off of a Comanche a few hours away from me. While I was there I noticed that the Comanche itself wasn’t in bad shape. It’s a 91’ HO Eliminator with 2WD It had under 150k miles on it if I remember right. It wasn’t perfect by any means but didn’t appear to be rusted out (most Montana jeeps aren’t) he said there was some blow by and that it probably needs a fuel pump. He said it turns over but he wouldn’t drive it with the fuel issue. Well this morning (a few months later) he offered to sell me the jeep for $1500! It feel like a steal but what do you guys think it’s worth worst case scenario if the engine was shot or something? here’s a picture: These photos were before the roll bar was removed. What does everything think? It does have a sliding glass window and what looks to be a rare original grill guard on the front. The interior was relatively clean as well. I would love to hear everyone’s thought. Keep in mind, id have to rent a truck and trailer and drive 4 hours there and 4 back to get it. Thanks!
  13. Thanks guys! Giving me a lot to think about!
  14. Jealous! Looks like a great time
  15. My steering wheel is currently black so I think it could look nice. Tan would look nice too
  16. Hey guys, I’ve always loved this style of steering wheel. Is this a good price to snag one? These did come stock in Comanches correct? Thanks!
  17. I see some turbines with caps and a sliding rear window 👀 lots of good parts
  18. Factory Sport Bars are very hard to find and typically go for $500-$800 if they know what they have. They are out there though, just be patient. It took me 8 months to find one myself.
  19. Way to see the silver lining. The new shoes look great! It’s very unfortunate that we live in a world where you can come out to no tires on your rig but those new wheel locks should help! How much lift are you rocking?
