Rear parking brake cable routing
fiatslug87 replied to pizzaman09's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
I don’t know about aftermarket lines but the OEM ones are stiff enough that they cannot fall onto the exhaust if they are routed and secured properly. -

UPDATE: NTK O2 sensor 23553 (RENIX)
fiatslug87 replied to fiatslug87's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
I found this Bosch 12009 O2 sensor on eBay for $30, thought I would take a chance since it looked like three wires out of the body but I don’t ever remember the metal heat shield over it. The Ω checked out at 6 between A&B so I have hope, although I don’t need it at the moment. The heat shield says Made in USA, I don’t know if it is a new or old one. -

Change over was 1990 and Eagle_4SX is correct should be pink and black wires.

Really NICE work, looks GREAT . That was a pretty fast transformation, it would have taken me years and I’m retired! -
Montana Manche Restoration

Front Runner tent! I have their rack on the FJ Cruiser and love it, so many accessories, my favorite is that two camp tables fit under it so they don’t take up any rack or cargo space.- 57 replies

The ‘88 has an AX-15. I aways forget some details

I removed my Pioneer decals a few years ago from my white ‘88 and actually like the slight ghost striping.
-
So I have an ‘89 2WD with a D44 and 3.55 gears and an ‘88 4WD with a D35 and 3.07 gears both 4.0L, my plan is to swap axles. The ‘89 is my beater; haul stuff to the dump, Home Depot runs, etc. while the ‘88 is my project on 31’s mostly used in freeway/city driving in California so good weather. Should I just regear the front to 3.55 or do both to 4.10? Like I said not much 4x4 action and I don’t need to spin the tires, I’m way too old for that. Thanks.

Remove it but you will probably still have a ghost stripe.

Congrats! When you get a chance add it to the REGISTRY. -

The center one does not look like it’s the same as the other two, could it just be added on? I’ve never seen a factory bar with three tabs in any literature.
