Did not know him, but have been reading jp since almost the first issue and liked his style. Sucks.

It is more of a foam. About 1/4" thick.

Straight to roof. 3m contact cement. We'll see if it can take the heat.

Replaced bench simply because it was broken down. Dakotas buckets with center console/armrest that is also a center seat for grandkid if needed. Best of both worlds.

Here is my cheapo headliner solution. I got tired of trying to find a headliner board that wasn't in terrible shape. Picked up this fatigue mat for $17. Glued it up and trimmed. It is by no means perfect, but looks way better than the bare metal. Matches the floor mats too. :)

I would like to see a x cab done with a 2 dr. Xj.

Better is just opinion. I like the dakotas. my brackets make the seats higher. I like it that way. I am average height. If you are tall you might want to use flat stock instead of the square tube like i did.

Jim. Dishwasher is a piece of sheet metal for rust repair. Jp. Simply cut off the old one at the handle. Cut the handle off an old lawn tractor that had given up the ghost. Grind to the angle I wanted. Weld and paint.

How 'bout that... Cheap xfer case shifter.

Check my build thread. Dakota split buckets. Love them. The way i did my brackets made them sit higher. Probably too high for u. But you could most likely make them shorter if you are good at fab.

That dude is a member. he also does customs. I had him do a gray shirt with the cc logo on the front where the pocket would be and then that large comanche on the back.

Just buy the full guages from a junkyard xj and swap. Then change the sending units for oil pressure and temp. Easy as pie.
