88 Pioneer 4.0 I6 / 5 Speed manual / AX15 / D30 / Ford 8.8 / SWB Build date: Unknown Current Location: Southeast, Beaufort, SC  Status: Runs really well, IMO, and is my daily driver. Notes: Currently red exterior and a gray interior, however, I am currently changing the interior to tan/beige and will be changing the exterior to a dark/navy blue. When I bought it, it had LED headlights installed. Has a bench seat that I’ll reupholster. Cab corner and rocker panel on the passengers side is quite rusted, no A/C at the time (runs cold for a couple minutes then just blows hot air). But I believe it’s an excellent vehicle for a novice mechanic.  Current owner: Self

Does anyone know of a good substitute or replacement for one? Supposed to be located above the hood release. Can’t seem to find any on the internet or the junkyard.

Would anyone happen to know the difference in the dimensions of the MJ and XJ seat brackets? I have some XJ seat tracks and was wondering if it’s even worth to make the adjustments to have them fit in my ‘88 MJ

Does anyone know if XJ front side panels fit the MJs with no problemo?

So MJ brackets with XJ seats, right? Can’t put XJ brackets in on an MJ without modifications? Can I put bucket seats on bench brackets?

I’m new and I apologize for the ignorance, but I just bought some LED lights and it came with a DRL wire. Which wire and where would I splice it to for those to work?
