  1. I definitely need a new tent, this one has quite a few holes worn in it.
  2. Opened the wildernest up for the first time and took it apart to get it off the Tacoma. Found some more rusty spots and will definitely need a new canvas.
  3. The 3d print seems to be holding up fine but the truck has been in a garage the entire time. I might be interested in milled ones in the future.
  4. There hasn't been much progress drivetrain or interior wise, hopefully I'll be finding my way to New England in the coming months to pick up the parts from my last project truck to install on this one. I did however just pick up a wildernest. It's got some issues but I'm confident it can be saved with some attention.

  6. @Limeyjeeper not intending to hijack your thread but I was hoping you could share some on how you setup your AC system with the swap. I've been pretty deep in research regarding it lately and according to all my research the 91-96 HO harnesses run at least part of the AC circuit through the ECM/PCM which I have no plans of keeping. Edit: I found the post you did on the AC and I'm not convinced it will work for my application. Looks like I'll be figuring it out myself.
  7. Has there been any movement on this project? I've got factory cargo light holes but no cargo light.
  8. I wonder where the body kit went. But the dash plate is present. https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/1670548887114118/?mibextid=dXMIcH
  9. Fair enough! Like I said, I kinda just started modeling before I thought to look.
  10. honestly, I didn't even think to check/ask if these parts were available somewhere, just decided to model them.
  11. I get my tattoos in Glendale so no, not too far.
  12. I'm in chandler
  13. After getting the truck home I started compiling a list of parts I knew I would still need This list was almost topped off by seats. I got a good deal for some maroon bucket seats with brackets off of facebook. The problem being they're maroon and I have a black interior waiting in storage for this truck. I have the Seat upholstery, however I don't have the folding lever trim and end cap in black. Now, if the pieces on the seats were complete and not missing, I would have attempted dying them black. That was not the case however, so I fired up Fusion 360 to make some suitable replacements. I may be open to selling these if there's enough interest but I'm not sure if I'd be able to color match.
  14. Starting this has been a few weeks coming, and as some of you may know, I purchased @Gjeep's 1989 Restoration truck. After a 12 hour drive to the bay area it was a warm welcome from Gianni and his family. He really is a stand up guy and put up with me asking questions and looking over his other projects and such for over 2 hours. Now, this isn't my first truck, however my previous project has been sitting quite a while and leaving it on the east coast when I moved to Arizona didn't help. You can find the original build thread here. Long story short, it was getting an LS swap. Now, the plan remains the same for this truck, sort of a resto-mod LS swap project. I've picked up a few small parts since picking up the truck, however I'm trying to figure out the logistics of getting my parts trove from the east coast to AZ.

  16. Now to find a clean matching passenger side 💀

  18. So while looking to see if there were any Comanches with seats in them in the junk yards near me I found a wrecked one with what appears to be a good condition tailgate. Figured someone might be interested https://imageappky.car-part.com/image?seller=2797&partsourceid=2797&partGUID=2797-az38-1000496645&vehicleGUID=2797-az38-VRXX246&display=1992 Jeep Comanche Lid%2FGate Assembly-Stock%23 e2797 RXX246
  19. I tried to message them multiple times on Facebook to no avail. Hopefully it goes well for you even if it makes me jealous
  20. If anyone else is looking at this truck, I test drove it today. It likely needs a clutch, it doesn't grab until you're almost off it. Brake pedal goes to the floor. Valve cover gasket seems to be leaking pretty substantially and the dash lights aren't working so likely the headlight switch. Parking brake may be non-functional too, not too sure.
  21. Has this project met it's end?
  22. How many you make? I can get them installed asap with the covid-19 $#!& going on rn.
  23. Of course when I give up on looking for a cleaner truck and just start buying parts for mine this pops up.
  24. Did you get any info on how others could order a tonneau from TruckcoversUSA?
