  1. ... Looking to replace my trusty(old) Snap-on 3/8" air ratchet with Cordless. Would like something, a bit more-portable, that I can use away from the compressor and also, for trips to the JY. Max Torque(Battery) and Manual Torque are important. I would much prefer, button(like above) over long-bar. Also looking for Quality over Price. Considering Snap-on again but any proven brand will do. Thanks for any suggestions. youngfred
  2. ... " Meanwhile, I was still thinking..." - C. Berry * Happy Shortest Days(of the year). youngfred
  3. ... Been too cold outside to paint and to install. Krusty's workmanship is amazing ! youngfred
  4. ... Floor Jack under the front end, with tires just off, the-ground. That's about what I am looking for. Measured From - Ground to Bottom of Fender Flare Right Now: 35" Rear 32 1/2" Front Just hung the rear bumper back on. Removed mostall of the - 'R-word' and I left on, the matte-ty look. ~ Krusty's Hitch arrives today and I have ever'thing ready. "Any-way..." (as my neighbor constantly says ???) which I return with: "Ab-so-lute-ly !!!" We get-along real good. * The most wasted of all days is one without laughter. - e.e. cummings youngfred
  5. ... Where you at ??!!?? youngfred
  6. ... Came across some Black Lug Nuts on ebay. Humm... Wanted to see how they would work with the Raised White Letters on the inside and the front Dust Caps and the rear Center Caps, painted black. ~ Photoshop changed it up a bit, to more of a - ying-yang-ish look. Which I like : youngfred
  7. ... Good Day, today. Temperature got up to - 70 Degrees. Not bad for the second week in December. ~ Shooting-the-breeze, with the rooster and 'The Doctor', dropped by : W.L. Weller - JustOnly-On-Ice/50 Swirls(no-stirring) youngfred
  8. ... Is the boy - coming or going, muddin'??? Looks like he got all-dressed-up, to go, stuck his front-toe in, and said, 'enough-of-this' !!! "NANCY !!??!! " youngfred
  9. ... Dipped the handle for a couple of days. Looking like it is gonna clean-up, okay. youngfred
  10. ... The Dust Caps came in, too. Gotta make a run to the beer-store, now. Thanks, guys. youngfred
  11. ... One of the License Lamp Lens was cracked and the connector socket was broken. Ordered one to see if I could make it work. Came in today(Amazon). Looks like a (close-enough), direct replacement. youngfred
  12. ... Trying to remove the Retainers of the Lower Belt Trim Panels. I don't want to remove the wrong way or break/crack anything. Is there an easy way to remove these Retainers ? It does say: "Detach the retainer with a tool or carefully pull the panel and screws out of the cab sheet metal." ??? Would that be a tool like the one used to remove door panels ? Thanks youngfred
  13. ... OUCH !!! Good fab skills, but ??? Wanna cut-up challenge - here's youone: youngfred
  14. ... Reworking my OEM Rear Step Bumper. Will these work on the stock bumper ? https://www.autozone.com/collision-body-parts-and-hardware/license-lamp-lens/dorman-license-lamp-lens/804803_4158_0?fromString=searchdone&make=&model=&year= The listing says, 'NO' but they kinda look like they might ??? youngfred
  15. ... Thanks. No worries, I considered ordering two(2)sets originally, but then I re-set the bar and convinced myself to get-em-done-right, the first time. youngfred
  16. ... Yea thanks H, I grabbed that post too, from Minuit's thread where he did the same thing and gave credit to, as I kinda recall - 'a chrome freak' maybe???, or some words to that effect. All meant, in a nice way, of course. I don't quite recall the exact words but I thought about the photo above - instantly. Thanks again, I ordered a pair, earlier today. ~ I am sure glad to have joined this site and grateful for all of the help - all-y'all ( plural ), have documented and continue to provide here. youngfred
  17. ... Thanks Minuit, All with your build influence, of course. youngfred
  18. ... Thanks Trailhawkmj. *Dam-nn spellchek. I ment to say - Dimensional - a measure of spatial extent. (length, width, depth) youngfred
  19. ... I agree. The stock 10-hole wheels are way too, 2-dimentional, too flat. The Ravines bring-in that much needed - 'depth'. youngfred
  20. ... Starting-in on the tailgate latch. Looks like PO's were lefties/rightys(mostly) and one (or two), middle-fingered dudes (some-of-the-time). youngfred
  21. ... Picked-up a whole set of five(5) Ravines with tires, last week. Plenty of thread on four of them, with one having about a 2" spot of curb rash(spare) and all had, just a bit of peeling on the clear coat. Although, I kinda liked the Stock, 10-hole wheels that came with it, I have never been too crazy about 7-inch wheels. youngfred
  22. ... Thanks. As I go along, I am finding that the whole truck is looking that way. Fiddling with it, up close, its 'aura' sends-out some possibilities of its past. 1. It's Mama's Truck? 2. Bay-bee likes to ride in it - when we go out? (makeup and misc. items; makeup behind driver's-side headrest). 3. Tow-behind motor home? ...or, maybe it's the cold-beer. youngfred
  23. ... Aa-ha!!! Here comes-the-Horse. Now we can hook up, the Cart. Thanks. youngfred
  24. ... Yes Sir, Sometimes, I think - well...??? Then again, I-just-don't-know??? ~ I DID start out by saying - "...since I'm new here." (31 posts) and This thread DID ask, "What would you guys like..." I'm confused with all of this aggression, headed my way??? What the hell has - duplicates, triplicates and facebook have to do with this. Is this how this forum treats newbies: "... (F)irst see if you can master making single posts, not duplicates and triplicates. " "...(M)r. newguy." "...(M)r. newcomer." "...(T)hese types." (All of the above reads with a strong, condescending tone.) Maybe, you old-guys(your words), don't want to be bothered and please understand, I was no where near - Your Cornflakes. ~ Pardon the slow response. My wife and I had gone out for I-talian. youngfred
