Call me old and over the hill; I like it the way it is, why complicate this site! Wouldn't pop-up/ ad block prevent things from showing up on the main screen? Thanks Pete

I am the original owner of a 88 Pioneer bought off of the lot, dealer may have ordered it like they wanted, it is 4wd,shortbox,white wagon wheels, different steering wheel, leatherette bench seat, full gauges. I can dig up the window sticker for more details. Any combination would be possible, Jeep did have the packaged options available. -

Check the switch on the brake pedal for power on both sides, make sure the connectors are tight. I replaced mine, and tried to solder only those wires wouldn't hold solder, used a push on connectors instead. -
I will leave the bedlining to the pros, should it go all the way up under the rails on the bed,or is there a standard? Is one brand better than the other?
-
No, just the inside of the bed! I asked because it doesn't make sense to paint it when bedliner sticks better to bare metal, that should be done first?
-
Has anyone used the media blasting preparation before paint or should a quality paint job take it down to bare metal to begin. I am the original owner of an 88 Pioneer, Colorado red paint(bad formula), should the bedliner be applied first, its applied to bare metal correct? Looking to have it looking new, with badges in the correct places and pioneer decals ,not costing twice as much as its worth!

Ga. purchased some equipment after the 2014 disaster, someone in charge made the decision to start spreading brine the night before , but rain came in first and washed it off the road and they had to reapply when the storm started? I am outside the perimeter we mostly had ice!

Pete M :may I suggest the website lostjeeps.com, they have a crd section with many knowledgeable people, one man in Savannah who will come to your Liberty to fix it. I hope it isn't the timing belt, that causes all kinds of problems! -
I have heard that before, one or two years worth of discussions on here! Just lightly kidding, not criticizing you. Thanks

rear main seal

Mechanic was replacing slave, had the transmission out, I may have asked him to look at leak in back of engine while he had it apart. He doesn't seem to be thorough in his work, this year I noticed some lines missing on the passenger side of the bellhousing, may be for vacuum lines axle disconnect doesn't work. Thanks for the replies, first I need to replace the valve cover gasket and clean the engine then I can tell where oil is leaking, only that can wait until spring! The double-lip seal will probaly work for me,getting the oil pan off would be my first problem! -
Told It has a groove in crankshaft; read somewhere about a double lip seal (maybe Mopar) and or a stainless steel crankshaft sleeve? Has anyone used either of these to fix a leaking rear main seal? This is an 88 4.oL Thanks

This one has all of the goodies; i am guessing he made the camper and the trailer! A closer look would be nice. Nice toys he has!

The diesel offered in the new cherokee by VM is a V-6. Diesels offered in the 05 and 06 Libertys was a VM-4, by the way it was offered from 02-07 for exports, it has a history of reliability in the overseas market. My two pennies worth! -
My original 1988 model cracked and is leaking, is that available new from Mopar? Also leaking out front of radiator, haven't pinpointed it yet though! Thanks
