Squaring axle and pinion angle

So I need to drop the rear angle from 87 to 81 degrees which puts it 3 below the angle of the transfer case -

So when trying to set this angle I should have all 4 tires on? -
Squaring axle and pinion angle
rylee144 replied to rylee144's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
No it's not tight. Still gotta weld the perches on. Trying to get my ducks in a row. It's got weight on it tho -
I have the axle set in place. The leaf spring pin is in and comes up through the axle perch. The axle is 1/8th of an inch off when measuring each side like the photo shows. That close enough?

New project multiple questions
rylee144 replied to jeepmjga's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
When I put the clutch in, there was some sort of tube that plugs into the top of the trans next to the shifter, but the other end was just hanging under the truck when I got it, not sure where this goes or what it does. I think this is just a breather tube if these pics are what you mean -
Thanks pete

Before I fill her up thought I'd double check. 10w30 synthetic for the ax15 and atf4 for the 231j t case?

The teeth can be "shapened". There are some write up for repairs. Best way to search this site is to google comancheclub then what ever your looking for, e brake repairs brought up a few. Here is one

Lift? No Lift? for 31' tires.
rylee144 replied to jeeplover88's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
I had 31s, no lift and WJ control arms with no rubbing. I then lifted 3". There are after market control arms with a bend in them. If you have the money get adjustable arms. My coil spring has a slight curve to them that I believe could be fixed with adjustable control arms. Google XJ or WJ adjustable control arms and several pop up with the curve in them -

When you bought this slave and master cylinder did you have to drill out the hole on the master cylinder to fit over the peg on the clutch pedal? -
Got the old master cylinder out and the new one ran through. The hole is smaller on the push rod than the old so I need to get a drill bit to finish this part up.
-
I did. Heard you can modify the old one somehow but this was easier

Second to last photo is where the speedo cable housing goes. Does a housing exist that would work with my current cable?

Haha i felt it was easier

It's in! I should have asked questions before about a few things but here goes. I have an old breather hose that went in the top of the old trans, photo 1 and 2. There isnt a hole for it in the ax15. Next this little plug doesnt have a home now that used to plug in the side of the ba10, pics 3 and 4. I have this plug now on the ax15, pic 5. I need a plug for this hole, I should be able to figure out what goes there. Photo 6 is the back of the transfer case. And lastly I have to figure out where my speedo cable plugs in
