Yeah. I meant the bezels around the door handles. Will mine bolt in over the xj ones? The xj ones looked a little bigger to account for all the switches and crap. I knew I'd have to cut a hole for the window crank, but that's fine. I have no plans to use the power stuff, unless its easy to make the power seats work. Regardless of what seats I snag, the center console, steering wheel and whatever other interior bits I can get are mine! :wavey:

Went to a nearby junkyard today just svrounging and I stumbled on an mj. It has bucket seats and taillights But right next to it was an XJ limited with black leather interior....power everything, Will the seats bolt up to my brackets? And how bout the door panels?? I should be able to switch out the door handles from my non power mj doors right? Can I hardwire thes seats to work?? They're perfect! The mj seats he had weren't bad, but had one rip. He only wants 40 for the mj seats and 50 for the xj :help:

Just so I'm clear....are those LEDs a snap in replacement? Or do you need to splice the pigtail? I'd love to replace the yellow peed-on look of my guage cluster And just wth is going on with your seatbelt? I'm a little lost

A black engine bay would hide oil and greasiness better :smart:

Those little 2.4 Nissan motors are tough little suckers. I had one in my '80 datsun, and it never stopped or slowed down. But mine was a 5 speed But new rule: no threads may contain the word topless unless the thread contains booooooobs

I just picked up a nice pioneer deck for only 80 bucks. It was a display model, plus 10% off. woohoo Ripped out the old one, but the connectors don't add up. Best buy told me that an 87 doesnt need the little scoche adapter. But I dunno. the pioneer deck came with its own adapter, do i need a jumper to go between the current adapter and the pioneer one? I'm at a loss here folks :wall:

I'd go with the srt8 WK rendering someone did, but sitting on 33's with solid axles front and rear, both with lockers  -
Ive found the roll on stuff is pretty rough, the rattlecan stuff fades really fast, and line-x is spendy, There's some that can be sprayed on with a gun, and a member on here has used it, can't remember who.

No MJ ads Pete-O. But i found an ad for the 1990 Hyundai Scoupe, Honda Civic hatch, First gen Eclipse, Toyota corolla, and The convertible Dakota. I really like that dakota one

Wow this thread has caused so much confusion. I am only trying to take the rubber ball off the end of the shifter. Hence The title "removing shift knob" I Have no intentions of taking the shifter off. I already started to rip the SHIFT KNOB off, I had no qualms with destroying it, was merely trying to find a way to take it off peacefully. Any part can be destroyed

Spent a little time painting today. Did the taillight trim here's the write up on that one: viewtopic.php?f=9&t=23023 The grille: Before During and after Sorry hornbrod, no chrome here :D The cab vents During After Image Not Found And the hideous chrome donkey ears mirrors Before After Little by little, my mj is becoming a ninja. -
Now we all know there isnt a lot of options when it comes to different tails for your mj, but while walking by the backend the other day an idea occurred to me. Why not paint the lines that separate the different sections? So I set off to wally-world and bought a couple cans of Satin black fusion, some ammonia, and snagged the local advertisement paper. First things first. Mask off your light Clean it up with the ammonia and put a VERY light first coat on Put two more coats on, allowing 5-10 minutes between coats Peel off that tape, and repeat the process for the other side Admire that sexy MJ butt!! -Travis
