  2. I know just a few that has lost 5th gear behind the 2.5 that don't even offroad. Leads me to believe I want to keep 5th.
  3. I wish I was just that far along. I do have a stock 350 Chevy sitting on a stand. For now I'm just watching everyone else for ideas. Good luck on your build up.
  4. Redrilling rotors to 5 on 4.5 is no problem. What was the issues with the calipers? pistions, seals, brake pads materials have come along way since then.
  5. Thanks for the help. I just searchimg out all my options.
  6. Has anyone done this swap with the Datoka AX15 ?
  7. Some is using the GM front wheel drive cars like the 80 through 84 "plus or minus a coupe of years" rear brakes. Cars are Eldorado, Buick Riveria, Olds Tornodo.

  9. Don't forget the computer.
  10. Good clean work. What size tire, and lift?
  11. i knew you figure it out.
  12. Use a 6 point socket also. 12's are famous for round bolt heads.
  13. I wish Dateline or 20/20 would do a investigation on these type of scams.
  14. sounds like my luck at times.
  15. Soak them with some PB Blaster. There is some better penetrents out there, just can not remember their name. Also smack the bolt heads with a hammer or with a center punch. Don't damage the edges.
  16. If you can't find a D44 pick up the 8.25, or Explorer 8.8 with disc brakes.
  17. I barely can walk in mine. Soon as my buddy's garage is finished some of my projects can move to free up some space.
  18. What all was done in the $800 fix? I know some people install dual stabilizer shocks sometimes, but that just masks the root problem.
  19. Heavy, but sweet. Thanks'
  20. I know there had been a rant on Rustys products, but call them and get the fixed LCA's made for how ever much lift you have. 6" in your sig right?
  21. Seen the death wobble many times with different Jeepers. 9 out of 10 times death wobble comes into play when their coil spring Jeep is lifted, and the pinion angle has changed. Caster Caster Caster ! For instance, had guy at work come up acouple of months ago complaining about his front axle going crazy after hitting a bump or pothole. Brought a couple of my used TeraFlex adj. LCA's along with a degree finder to his house. Less than 15 or 20 min, measured his stock arms, extended the Tera LCA's a few rounds, and about 3 degrees lower, his death wobble was put to rest. In my opinion the MJ has a really good combination "coils and leafs".
  22. Could be the Map sensor, coolant sensor, or IAT sensor. All effect fuel mixture. Since you have done the o2 sensor, the MAP would have the next greatest effect on your fuel mixture in my opinion.
  23. Give us some more info on the u-bolt eliminators. TIA JeeppinTom
