  2. http://philadelphia.craigslist.org/pts/2285386158.html Wow, if I had the cash, she looks like a winner!
  3. Thanks! Yea, I'm going to do some more research on the FSJ stuff, Honcho, Gladiator etc. but I'm kind of thinking just sourcing the XJ 44 since it seems pretty bolt-in-able.
  4. I realize I already have wheels ........ prob should have waited on that ........ 5x4.5 Anyone run 37s on stock XJ dana 44 rear? ..... I'm assuming thats the best option and pair it with a 44 in the front. I'm light footed.
  5. So I want to run 37s on my XJ, I have been collecting parts for a while and have tons of stuff, except the Axles ........ Can someone help me with this ....... http://washingtondc.craigslist.org/mld/ ... 50224.html Anyone use their ID skills, would these be a good set? they look like 16 inch wheels, 8 lug .... Anyone have any insight? Thanks!

  7. So until I get my Comanche officially on the road, Ive been driving a few volvos around. I got a 2 for the price of one deal. Both 87 740 GLEs, the ones an auto and my volvo guy said I need a fuel management computer .... or some other box located under the steering wheel. Anyone do volvos? .... Ive seen Oizarod115 avatar. This is one that my guy thinks the fuel computer kicked the bucket 87, 740 GLE, non-turbo, auto I towed my MJ trailer project frame home with it, worked like a champ.
  8. When I lived in DE, I would place the order online then, drive up and pick it up. The shipping was a little crazy. Its a good deal if you are ordering heavy stuff (wheels, etc.), but for some plastic items they hose you. To keep average shipping costs down, they overcharge for the smaller stuff so that the bigger stuff seems like a better deal. Hurts the guys who order smaller-lighter items, but for large stuff it works out.
  9. I can visualize the track getting screwed up, your turning "circles" will be much different diameter.
  10. Anyone ever throw caravan wheels on their MJ? If so, show some pix ..... same bolt pattern, hows the back spacing?
  11. You can get it cheaper with a kit .... Felpro Gasket kit set for my 86 MJ 4cyl was $40 at the most, I think it was actually $36, but it came with 30 million gaskets. here's mine for the 2.5 http://shop.advanceautoparts.com/webapp ... fragment-2 Check on the 4.0, which is the motor I'm assuming you have. Eh, just checked .... its a little pricey, but probably beneficial in the long run. http://shop.advanceautoparts.com/webapp ... 296306____ Part number for AdvanceAutoParts HS9076PT-2

  24. http://stores.hi-potek.com/-strse-1/Chr ... Detail.bok Found this, looks cool. Id love to have a drain plug on my diff covers. Pulling them is a pest, not that its done often, but anyhow.
  25. Clean the contacts and check the ground, should be integrated into the pack of wires, but I ended up re-grounding it because the original stuff didnt have enough wire to juice up the gauges. Sounds weird, but it worked ....... try it.
