I am doing the LED upgrade in the DIY section, but I figured more people will look at this one in the Tech section.. I am having trouble figuring out where these wires go... LED pad... and the Pillar wiring... (black/white, black, and red) I am wondering which of the wires goes where... Pretty sure red/red black/black, but what about the black and white? Thanks

What is the part number/package look like from radio shack??

I have everything except the dome light package... I don't understand how you drill it in... Where do I drill into? My stock light just kinda pop out. No drilling needed. Also the wires in the back... Which ones do I use? Thanks everyone.

Changing the whole column is probably easier than taking it apart. Yeah I figured that.. What would I have to take off?

I have a question... I am thinking about buying a 89 tilt steering wheel column, will it fit in my 87 2.5? I'm pretty sure its from a 4.0. Are the plugs the same (like plug ins and everything) Also, how hard is the job to do? What do I need to take off and such? I know the lower dash, gauge cluster... Thanks

Could I get a set up for the pcv system from a Cherokee at the junkyard? Will a 4.0 airbox fit where the 2.5 is? Thanks

As the title says... I was driving tonight and whenever I hit the brake pedal... I noticed my headlights dimmed, and if I opened the door, and pushed the brakes on, interior lights dim also... Any opinions?

Would it be easier just to switch out the steering hweel column with another that doesn't wobble?

Lol. Yeah we have a lot of engines sitting around in the class shop we use for 'practice rebuilding' just to make sure we get it right. I guess times have changed since then huh ;) jk. But for $20.. Can't beat that.

Yeah thanks guys. The reason I'm doing it is because I want like a new engine for my daily driver... And my class is in the rebuild stage and only allow 3 engines in and classmates are bringing in 350's and stuff and I won't have room for my little 4 cylinder. So I'm going to tear mine down at home and try to keep up with the class, though we have groups and I'll be working alone, but eventually I'll get there.

Hello all, I know some of you have done a engine rebuild and was wondering if you could tell me what all I need? Like the sizes of the pistons and all... It is a 2.5L 4 cylinder... Thanks, In class the other day my instructor said if the speedo cable is loose or not in all the way your speedometer could go back and forth rapidly... Mine does that... Should I pull it out, spray with some brake cleaner then dip some trans fluid on it and put it back in? But would that cause the rpm gauge not to work??
