My step dad had to come pull me out this weekend in his 85 Toyota SR5 pick up. So this question is for him. He was getting a sputtering under load. Checked the timing and it was forward. He adjusted and moved onto the plugs. One was fouled so he replaced, a brittle plastic connector broke off a sensor (I’m not sure which—it’s just below the tps). He took it for a test drive and said it’s got not power under 2k rpm now and has a hard time staying running at idle...anyone know yotas? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Yea I did, with some help. I made the mistake of going out alone and just doing some dirt fire roads. This little washout snuck up on me, as soon as my rear tires touched the corrugated pipe my @$$ end slid over. Happened around 5pm yesterday as it was gettin dark and rainy and out of cell service lol. Decided to leave it there overnight and jog 3 miles to the main road where crumbscomanche was able to pick me up and bail me out, praise jeebus. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

The wood grain is not my favorite on mine lol...I’ve been thinking of replacing it with 90’s rainbow holo-foil happy face pattern vinyl ....anyone know where I can find aaaaaanything like that? I’ve noticed that when parking, if I make sure to begin firm and intentional when turned the key to off and putting into park, it reduces the chance of the no start. Leads me to think ignition or nss....i cleaned the nss recently...don’t know how to test electricallly though... 87' XJ Wagoneer I-6 AW4 NP242

This sounds similar to an intermittent no crank issue I’m having. Cranks and fires up 90% of the time. When it doesn’t want to start, with the key on, I can jump the starter with a screwdriver and it’ll fire up..and will start normally until the next time it doesn’t want to. Leads in where to begin? This is my first time troubleshooting an injector issue, could you give a little more detail? I’m not sure what 22lbs @ 39psi means, what is that referencing?
