Out of curiosity I sent Tom an email for some more info, he was kind enough to reply with the following. Hi, Josh, Sorry, but we have been making them only for orders for the past year, so we don’t have any inventory. We are in the process of attempting to sell our prints to another kit manufacturer (not Rusty’s, since they already have their own), so maybe they will continue to manufacture them. Mine are rusted off and I have been putting off getting new ones until I'm lifted and do the proper measuring. Problem is I plan on hauling some fill and wondered if they are interchangeable between a xj and mj? Just want some cheap ones from advanced or team cherokee to get me by. Thanks

Because we don't read the rules for the classified section, to put your location in the title :smart:. Now that I think about it, it still doesn't stop me from looking at ads on the other side of the country when the location is posted, so it doesn't make much difference to me.

Still have my first MJ an 87, bought in 93 in 10th grade. Caught fire around 2002, parked it. Bought a 94 cherokee drove it till it rusted out. Stripped both down for a swap, went to school and it has since sat at my brother in laws, 5 hours away. Fast forward 8 yrs and my wife got tired of me wishing it was closer to work on, but having no room to work on it she found me another MJ a 91 to tide me over until the day I can be reunited with my first obsession.

As soon as I saw the pic I thought of the proto fab winch bumper, looked at their website and now I'm not so sure. No idea how to attach the website though, sorry.

I just ran into an issue trying to get past inspection in pa and googled the regulations. No wheel spacers greater than 1/4 inch and no fender flare greater than 3 inches. Didn't say how far past flares tires could stick. I didn't have flares on and that was the issue. I guess its up to the cop that pulls you over, or inspection station.

On Tortola British Virgin Island I saw several, one parked at a dock, the other driving the other direction and saw another on St John US Virgin Island. Unfortunately I was unable to stop and check them out, I think I snapped a quick pic while stopped. I'll see if I can find it. Like all vehicles down there, they appeared to be in pretty crappy condition.

We have and use a harness for him in the WJ (cargo area) and MJ, but he can't get comfortable in the MJ and tries to get down on the floor or onto the dash, wish he would just lay across the seat. Thanks for the input.

So the dog hates riding in the MJ, he just can't get comfortable, he's around 50 lbs (you would think there's plenty of room, the truck has a benchseat). Looking for ideas to put a platform between the seat and dash, level with the seat and still have access to the floor under it. Curious if anyone has done it.

Think you need a 16 inch rim for those tires, or if he is selling tire and rims you need adapters for the 5x5.5, spidertrax or alloy usa make adapters, if you don't use them make sure you get hubcentric adapters, just safer.

I have also been slowly gathering the parts for an 8.8 swap and wonder because of the offset diff (I realize it's not much) if the driveshaft needs to be shortened/lengthened? Also curious what perches you used, I've been eyeing Ruffstuffs 8.8 swap. I want to stay sprung under with Hellcreeks 3" leaf springs, but want the "thinnest" perch available to keep the springs as close to the axle tube as possible, opinions, ideas, your successes and failures appreciated.
